....Well.... I really liked the new album. It's really varied, that's what I like about Apocalyptica, they just don't stick to one style that's worked for them, they keep trying new things...I'm all for it..

I'm sorely disappointed in the 7th Symphony album. sorry, but this is not the Apocalyptica-style I love (except the instrumental songs)... what about the roots? the rock, the metal, the Nordic sound? the new album is too trendy, too American :(

One of the best parts about concerts is being able to sing your heart out as loud as you can to the music. I am stoked as crap to see Apoc but it will be my first instrumental concert . Except for when I was in middle school and was at the orchestra concerts. but I was playing in those so idt that counts XD

These guys are trying to make something different. Would you prefer just knowing one face of Apoc? The same kind of melody, similar words on the lyrics... B O R I N G! I'd rather hear everything they've got inside.

@IssaKivilaakso Agreed! That is one of my favorite things about Apo ... how different their songs are from each other. Two of my favorites are "Betrayal" and "Farewell" - they are so different than each other, and yet both so powerful in their own way. It would be very boring if all their songs sounded the same. And as much as I love the songs with lyrics, I hope they never give up instrumentals :)

I thought that the new album will be better. 7th Symphony is "only" good. Bittersweet, Life Burns, I dont' care, Path vol 2 these songs are much better from those of the 7th Symphony. The only song that can match them to it's End of Me. I was expecting a little more "poetry" (like in Bittersweet,) and other strong cuts. (Life Burns).
