@paullubliner What's patentable is a single-lens model railroad signal capable of displaying 3 separate light colors utilizing a separate wire lead for each color (no blending of red and green to get yellow...). But a couple of month ago I had decided not to pursue the patent, so I thank you for pointing out to me that I need to modify the text for this video...
@kyla2112 It's a 'current-sensitive' detection system. Detection boards connected to each track block sense the power draw of the locomotive and cars, providing a 12VDC output to a custom-made signal driver circuit board designed and assembled by Custom Signal Systems.
