That is an Mk 2, and the Mk 1 has been tested against the T-72 and defeated it.

Well so far only the US M1 has been combat tested against armor.
I know, pathetic Iraqi T-72s aren't much of a test.
But to my knowledge, the two other top dogs, the Merkava and the Leopard, have never seen tank to tank combat.

The true test of a tank is how it fares in tank to tank warfare.
Period.
I never said is wasn't a very good tank, just not the best because it hasn't been battle tested.
