I need that old 'innocent ' India back!

I can't stop crying seeing these videos. I am 27 now and I grew up watching these videos and yes i am still so emotional with tears in my eyes. When are we people going to these videos again? And imagine life some 20 years back no tension, no fears, no worries, just relax and watch dd. I am happy that i am able to see these videos yet again and i feel so relieved, relaxed and happy. This is what life is about, reliving your past and thinking of those happy moments . I know Iam still crying!

The pre-liberalisation/globalisation epoch were truly the golden days of India, simplicity, love for fellow countrymen, patriotism, respect for elders was the driving force of the Nation. Ego, greed, etc. was absent in most, we had a vision for our country, we still do, but sadly we have lost our values that made us Indian along the way.
That was truly the golden age of our nation. Btw one question, is this during the Asian Games of 80'?

I can't stop crying seeing these videos. I am 27 now and I grew up watching these videos and yes i am still so emotional with tears in my eyes. When are we people going to these videos again? And imagine life some 20 years back no tension, no fears, no worries, just relax and watch dd. I am happy that i am able to see these videos yet again and i feel so relieved, relaxed and happy. This is what life is about, reliving your past and thinking of those happy moments . I know Iam still crying!

Yes I feel proud to be an Indian and more importantly, we should feel proud that we as children lived in the greatest era of the country marked by innocence, patriotism and yes as someone said change is inevitable, but at the same time you should not forget something that has helped us grow as an individual which is culture, heritage, tradition. And you should also remember that memories of childhood days are priceless, (and am I referring to malgudi days lol?)

An entire generation grew up seeing this...today many of them may not be here in india..many flew abroad for studies,work business.....seeing this video will indeed bring tears to their eyes just like they moistened mine!..
at the same time i pity todays generation, they r growin up watchin a 100 channels full of sleaze and filth, corrupting the young minds.

That was good old days....Where everyone sit near tv and enjoy each shows. Now we have only time to change channels. I still remember my neighbors coming to my house to see programs.. My Parents always welcomed then with a sweet smile. Do we have such mentality now ? Are we loosing our Human nature ?

those were the times when i grw up as a school kid and watchd he-man,captain marvel,mahabharat and ramayan on weekends on DD. the unity that was present at that time can never be regained this time as now people are only selfish who do not have time to thnk for others.please somebody invent a time machine so that i can go back to that era again and again and again.truly miss those days
