  • huh, a 3rd generation horse who still has a thick accent...

  • @lebug13 huh, a horse with an accent?

  • @tammyh37 it isn't Billy Connolly.

  • So glad they went back to Clydesdale commercials.Hated those stupid Spuds commercials in the 80;s

  • It's all about the Mother Fucking OATES!

  • Best commercial ever!

  • Terrible attempt at a Scottish accent, would it have been SO hard to recruit a genuine Scot voice over artist?

  • @scrapheapchallenge1 pretty sure it is a Scotsman...sounds like Billy Connolly who is a Scottish comedian. He lives in Canada so perhaps his accent has been "watered" down a mite but its not fake!

  • NICE!! hehe!

  • Whooo!! I ALWAYS get chills from this commercial.

  • the horse is like in the boat like pasanger XD

  • oh u can beat ur wife but u cant beat a good beer

  • It's gonna be tough to beat this one, but Bud's managed to come out with stellar commercials two years in a row, I think they can do it!

  • awh the budweiser clydesdale commercials are always my favorite! horses are so pretty!

  • "It's a story of strength and triumph... and oats."

  • 0:29 To 0:34 A clysdale in a throughbred horse race

  • adorable horses!! ;)

  • LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL !!

  • Such a bad Scottish accent.

  • I think he is supposed to have a bad Scottish accent! The modern day horse is an American trying to sound Scottish.

  • these horses are absolutely beautiful and i love scotland to great job and thanks for posting

  • Ireland. It was showing ireland

  • Same diffrence

  • I love the racehorse part!! X{D

  • i love this video!!!

  • Without horses doing our heavy labor for centuries, we'd all still be just monkey's in trees. Humans may have domesticated horses, but horses made us learn science and civilized we humans in the process (at least some of us).

  • my clyde looks exatly like tthat one in the video.

  • who does the voiceover?

  • it was funny when the box broke.

  • SONG NAME UPDATE!!!:

The song artist is Eric Rigler. I'm still searching for the song name. IF ANYONE FINDS IT PLEASE TELL ME.

  • am i the only one that was disappointed by the budweiser commercials this year?

    ...i miss the frogs

  • yeah... ur the only one

  • not saying it wasnt funny just not as funny as they usually r

  • Coming from the 14 year old that doesn't know those commercials, ha.

  • LMAO!

  • Yeah, this is just silly.

  • If his great grandfather immigrated, and the narrating Clydesdale is 3rd generation American, why does he still have a Scottish accent?

  • are u sreious? get sence of humor!

  • oh ya thats what you find odd and not the fact that the horse talks

  • I think he was trying to talk like his great grandfather because the commercial is about family history.

  • When he says oats he sounds like Black Beauty!!

  • this makes me love my scotish heritage

  • From a Clan McPherson view, this is GREAT!

  • I love this video!!!! It's cute and the clyde is goregous!!!!!! :-D

  • Would love to know the song ! Please give the name or tell us if it's specific for this commercial.

  • Any1 know the song

  • ive been to Grant's Farm and saw the clydesdales! i absoulutly luv them!(p.s Grants farm is in Missouri)

  • I live five minutes away from the clydes. ;) Get to see the new crop of foals each year.

  • aw! your so lucky! I know their picky about color and markings. Do they sell the foals that are not right for the team?

  • Well, most of the clydes have the bay genes bred into them (I've only seen an off-color foal once or twice). They don't just breed them for the team, though. They sell to people who want to drive/own/show, as well. It's a very nice operation.

  • lucky. I am jelous

  • def. one of my faves!

  • Does anyone know who did the music for this commercial? or Where to find it elsewhere? It's obviously the Uilliean pipes and a pennywhistle duet, but I can't anything like it that's quite as pretty.

  • ya exactly

is it tin whistle or low whistle?

  • yes this was a great video i really enjoyed watching this video it made me laugh and i really have to say it was very intertaining

  • I love horses!!!!!

  • Thanks Budweiser! This brings a smile in a dull day and brings back memories of my family and the others who came out of opression into freedom to love on God and be who they were created to be.

  • Oh, For the love of God, it is a commercial!! Why do people have to pick it apart??? Who cares if the horse speaks with a Scottish account, it is a great commercial.

  • I was thinking either Gerard or Adrian Paul...

  • Love it! Thanks for posting.

  • I Love this commerical, and I'm not saying that just beacause my uncle was in it. People don't understand how much work goes into filming, especially with big animals.

  • Love love love!!

Love all the Budweiser Clydesdale commercials!!!

  • The commercial made no sense.... if his great-grandfather came to America and started the "Budweiser Clydesdale" trend... then why would the voice-over clydesdale have a Scottish Accent anyway??? My great-grandfather was from the Ukraine, yet I don't have a Ukranian accent.... it made no sense.

  • The modern day horse was probably imitating the way his great-grandpa talked.

  • does that voice sound like Gerard Butler to anyone else?

  • that was great.

  • Why does he have the WORST scottish accent at the start! It's really really terrible! Like really really bad! So bad in fact I'm leaving!

  • I felt so bad for the sad, crying horse at the begining =(

  • I LOVE these Clydesdale Commercials!!

So glad I found them!! I TOTALLY agree with simplecowgirl

    Mustangman

  • that wasnt even funny wow

  • "It's a story of strength, triumph and oats."XD I was somewhat confused with the piano part though-what was the horse trying to do?

  • In the New York Walkups of the period, large furniture had to be hoisted and taken in through windows.

  • i like the part where he talks about his grandfather.

  • awesome! the Clydesdales are the best part of the super bowl. lol.

  • I bet you're the life and soul of the party.

  • Thanks for posting this. I don't watch football but I love the Clydesdales.

  • yay

  • what song is this?

  • dont know...its bagpipes though..sorry!

  • that's ok

it just sounds cool when the low whistle comes in at 0:29

    hehe

  • It's one of the Braveheart themes.
