You are probably a great trainer but I do not agree (and some other experts also)with your forcing them to go down it is too hard on their legs. No matter how gentle you push, he looks a little uncomfortable.

I had a dog with potella luxation and I tried it once and hurt her because i didn't know about her condition then.
