  • Hey man I am thinking of getting a mustang gt in the 05-09 modelsas a first car. My dad says it might be a little to much power for a first car. what is your opinion on that. ps I am 15, I am turning 16 soon, and my dad has tought me how to drive and he says I am an amazing driver. hell, I got borred of automatic and I learned how to drive stick and he says I am also very good at that to. so what is your opinion

  • @wildman0527 Look in Mustang Trader.com

  • @wildman0527 Yeah, go for the v6 cause the GT gets about 15 mpg. At least mine does, and that is including the 40percent highway in there.

  • whats the size of your beautiful stripes? Is the gap in between your stripes 2 inch or 1 inch? 1 1/2 inch?

  • @jesusalbertobf 18 x 9"

  • 5 stars btw

  • Great sound! Music to my ears! Can you tell me your wheels size? 18"19"???

  • that thing is a beast nice set up

  • Hey i was looking at buying a 07-09 mustang gt for my first car hopefully if i can find one with under 10k miles, and i had a few questions. are they are a good reliable sports car? and are they a good daily driver, how many miles do you have on yours? any advice helps thanks:)

  • @hemipower61 Mine is a 05 and one of the first produced since I took delivery in October of 2004. The 05-06's have had their growing pains. I'm sure an 07-09 would be a more reliable choice. My car has been trouble free. Wife's BMW 530i was a clunker compared to my mustang. My car has a little over 31,000 miles now. It is a daily driver for nice weather. I'm glad I have a nice and slow F150 with an automatic for a break every now and then....and in bad weather.

  • @4511point21 Thanks for the advice will start shopping:) sweet exhaust setup btw

  • @4511point21 what growing pains are you talking about with the 05-06 mustangs?

  • @MIDNswagg Gas tank fill problems, Shaker System skipping, clunking in suspension, emergency brake freezing, and plenty of other TSB's. Forums were filled with em. Much better now though.

  • @4511point21 are these easy fixes?

  • @MIDNswagg I also have an early model '05 and mine had a fuel pump replaced, electronic throttle body, and both driver and passenger door handles do not fully retract (they won't fix this with the extended warranty I purchased). Have a relative who also owns an 05 and her parking break froze when she went skiing. Mine has 28k on it now, hope all is well from here out. I have a super reliable 94 Ranger.

  • @4511point21 mine has almost 70K now, it's an 05 ....no problems at all

  • @hemipower61 Go to mustang trader.com,that's where I got my 06 GT,with 3,200 miles,it was garaged kept with a cover on it for three years.I paid $18,200 for a $36,879 car.Color is torch red with the 1000 watt shaker stereo.I couldnt have gotton a better bargain anywhere else.Good luck

  • @hemipower61 this should help dude I live in the awsome heat of arizona my 2006 mustang gt has 115,000 miles on it daily driver i put about average 50+ miles a day and I still race like crazy and speed like crazy putting down 323rwhp and about 380 to the crank only thing that happened was my alternator fried but thats a easy fix lol i love my stang

  • @emelioDC Thanks Man Yeah Mustangs are definitely the Most Reliable and Most Powerful muscle cars out there!! I'm Sold.

  • @hemipower61 yes to all your questions really its very reliable i only have three mods on mine its an 06 gt 5 speed and i can run with ss cameros, 2010 so yes its very fast and getting new gears is a good idea go to 4.10's or 4.11's i am after i get my magnaflow o/r x-pipe in and on the car.

  • @brownba1994 Thanks Man!

  • @hemipower61 sure thing man, enjoy it

  • My Goodness!

Thats all i have to say.

And that "hhsss" sound sounds like this cat has a turbocharger.

  • Great setup! I have a question though. I have the same Kooks Long Tubes but I have a catted X pipe. How much do u think that will change the sound of the magnapacks? One of my current mufflers is bad and I'm thinking of changing to these. I'm also supercharged if it makes a difference. Are yours just the magnapacks axle back system?

  • @Analyzer52 I remember seeing another video of a guy with my same setup but with cats. Made a big difference...not as loud and was less aggressive sounding...but still good. Cant find it now though.

  • A wee bit of broadside would have been nice. Who needs music when you have that?

  • GORGEOUS mustang bro. i'm about to trade in my pussy Jap Scion tC for some good ol' AMERICAN MUSCLE! Gonna get a black 05 stang GT and start mods with some magnapack cats. You are my MUSE dude!

  • oh my god

  • just got back from shop, switched to magnapacks, there a bit more mellow, but sound great, supercharger turned out awsome, putting 478 to the rear wheels.

  • @GMurphSC06GT Are you going to be able to post it?

  • @4511point21 yeah,as soon as my girlfriend figures out our camera ,im not exactally sure how to post a video up on here, any tips??

  • Wow man, your mustang sounds sooo beautiful, probably the best I ever heard on youtube, congratulations from Mexico!!!

  • @MegaDreamer1960 Thank you very much...I appreciate it.

  • better than sex! :)

  • I listen to your car every time im on computer,it's by far the best sounding GT I ever heard, looking foward to getting my magnapacks.

  • Iv'e sent alot of post's out to people to listen to your car,I really love the sound of it,by far the best on you tube, great job man, everytime I hear it,I get goose bumps, hope you get alot of good feed back.

    George

  • This sound's so old school muscle, best sounding mustang on you tube,do you have high flow cat's on it? Ive got Jba header's,pypes high flow cats and cherry bomb extreme mufflers,it's in the shop getting some comp cams and an edelbrock supercharger,I hope mine sounds as good as your's,we'll see, maybe I might switch to the magnapacks.

  • Thank you! No cats. That makes a big difference in the sound. Well, my children are my supercharger and cams for now...but maybe some day. Im going to subscribe so I can hear how yours turns out. Good luck!

  • @4511point21 I'll post up a video as soon as I get it back.

  • sound's better with the headers, nice set up.

  • Sounds like a Mustang to me, nice.

  • sounds bad ass

  • hey man sounds great. how is it at idle? quiet? because my exhaust now is obnoxious with my cams and i was thinking of getting magnaflow to quiet it down a bit, right now is bbk lt's, bbk or/x, pypes mid muffler, and mutha thumprs. thank you

  • Very nice at idle after it warms up. VERY obnoxious when you first start up when it is a cold engine. The magnapacks from magnaflow would not quiet it much...but maybe their normal muffler would. I don't have cams either so Im sure it would be even worse like you have to deal with.

  • Sounds great man, is that a off-road x-pipe?

  • sounds awesome! what spoiler is that? love the ducktail!

  • CDC Ducktail....thanks!

  • god this sounds like some serious old school muscle

  • Comment removed

  • Also, this is how you make an exhaust video. Not that pansy rev holding the old farts do. Get a cam out on the road and hammer on it. Again, Kudos man.

  • Thanks!

  • I agree...one of the best videos on youtube and a great sounding mustang.

  • Oh so sexy. Kudos mang

  • still cant get over how nasty it sounds

  • Pure sweetness! I can't wait to see how the new 5.0 sounds with Magnapacks!!!

  • Me too!

  • @Neckbonekat1029 That mustang looks and sounds like SHIT. Do the world a favor and take this video off.

  • @thi711 HAHAHA!! Gotta love stupid people! Where to begin? I guess I'll start with the obvious stuff... This isn't my video so how can I take it down idiot? Now I'm not sure if you are talking about my Mustang video and in your stupidity just you posted the comment on the wrong video. Anything is possible when you give a 10 year old internet privileges. It's people like you that make a good case for after-birth abortion. Get some hair on your balls then you can talk about men's cars. lol

  • @thi711 Do the world a favor and fucking kill yourself, your just jealous because you cannot afford a mustang, you asshole.

  • beautiful sounding car

  • sounds great.

  • learn to count he never hit third when accelarating

  • do you have the exact list of how you achieved 299HP?

  • Well umm they have about 300hp already stock so.....

  • @427badass to the rear wheels

  • I didnt say to the crank lol....dont know what that hp would be

  • the 3vs can make pretty good rwhp but to a certain extent then the bottem end needs to be built a little bit. but this car sounds sick reguardless.

  • Hard Acceleracation?!?!?! you can only chirp 2nd???? my little b16 does that and its stock and yes a stock exhaust to...........

  • @LaoDjSoulja

Trust me he can spin the tires like a bitch with that set up. my stock 08 bullitt spins in 1st and spin in 2nd and chirp 3rd.

  • yeah he prob can but i was just seeing what ppl would say haha shit even gt's can spin em up

  • @LaoDjSoulja

    yea was bout to say..

  • Yeah but you have FWD so the second you hit the gas all the weight goes to the back, try getting a car thats not FailWheelDrive

  • so but its a little honda with 4 little cylinders this thing is double the cylinders so how come not double the power?? and no i'm not hating on american cars either i own one my self

  • Race him then. I'm SURE you'll hang right with him.....lol

  • The Sound is just impressive man! Nice work!

  • Sounds great man! I am putting on my ARH longtubes + catted x this week, couldnt afford the catback yet but I'm going with Borla or Corsa so It might sound pretty similar.

  • exactly what i wish my dads 08 GT sounded like. instead he went with the flowmasters. magnaflows are just so smooth sounding. definitely what i would have if i had a stang

  • holy shit! that thing sounds amazing! im looking at some exhaust like SLPs and flowmasters..but this one by far is the best iv heard! but im new to this stuff and i wanna make my car sound like this..what would be the most important thing to get for my car?

  • SOUNDS GOOD SOUNDS REAL GOOD

  • your car sounds great man very nice

is that a cop car at 0:36? lol

  • Thanks! And maybe it is ;)

  • sounds awesome man nice sound quality on that camera too

  • that sounds wicked nice

  • i ended up going with borla stinger's but these pack's sound beautiful... i was debating it and it isnt a big issue but i wanted 4" tip's... great vid though..

  • By far has to be the best sounding three valve I have heard in a long time two thumbs up

  • be a brave and turn the traction control off next time

  • ummm....it WAS off. Maybe cars in the UK peel out that much when they have traction control on.

Seriously, if traction control WAS on...it would bog down...very noticeable.

  • I got a 07 black gt...........what do I need to buy to make mines sound like that...... awesome sound man.

  • great sound man!! who makes the X pipe?

  • Kooks

  • thanks

  • Does that have a clutch/flywheel/short shifter? Its banging gears quick.

  • Just a Steeda Tri-Ax

  • this is by far my favorite mustang i've seen.

    looks and sound, mad props

  • do you have just the magnapacks or a cat-back? and how much were they?

  • Catback and magnapacks....$542 in March 2005.

  • wow i love this sound makes me wish i had a s197...

  • Hi ,,, which magnapacks you running with 2.5 inch or 3 inch ??

  • 2.5" It is part number 15883.

  • Thanks dear

  • "Thanks" is good enough....I don't need the "dear".

  • by far one of the best 3vs i've ever heard great job on the car man!

  • BEST video BEST sound BEST GT|||||| NICE CAR I LOVE IT

  • do you have cats on the x pipe?

  • Best sounding S197 ive ever heard, i keep coming back to this video to hear it... i want that exhaust setup

  • Hands down the best sounding S197 I've heard. CARB be damned, LT's here I come!

  • Thanks! That means a lot when there are so many videos out there.

  • Sounds really good dude...top 5 I've ever heard on youtube.. and one of if not the best videos around. Good job man!!!

  • sounds nice

  • lol! I can hear the cops coming for you in the back ground! lol! Just kidding. This sounds amazing.

  • that thing sounds great, two questions though, is the x pipe also from kooks? catted or o/r x?

  • The X comes with their headers. And it is o/r

  • that sounds great

  • about how much for that setup?

  • Headers and X was purchased from Modular Depot/MD Motorsports. with tax it was $1370 something....plus install. I live close to them so I got it from them....not on the internet. Magnapacks were $542

  • oh ok man thanks

  • how much MPG!?

  • Average 17.5 mpg city. Get 22-23 on highway.

  • hey dude I love your sound! I know its loud but do you know if the same set up would be OK in CA? I hope so because this is how every mustang should sound...can't have enough!!!

  • I always thought CA was hard on car mods....especially exhaust mods. But I don't live there so I wouldn't know for sure

  • ok well I think I'll still get those pipe even if I can get trouble with them!

  • i love the sound at 1:23-1:24

  • OK. this sound good man, and are these kooks LT with kooks catted X-pipe?

    Where did you bought them?

  • jesus crist! i never heard anything so beautiful in my life. nice work man

  • Thanks!

  • dude the sound is beautiful! with the kooks did you get the dyno tune? and if you did, did they recommend premium?

  • Yes it was dyno tuned.

They recommended premium for a little more horsepower and it is a little better with nitrous then.

  • sick car love the sound about how much horsepower that car have

  • Thanks! It has 299 rwhp

  • I love the sound of Magnapacks I recently put on JBA shorties, JBA off road X running through 3 inch magnaflow magnapacks. Its not the loudest exhaust like say headders + offroad H+ Flowmaster 40 series would make but when you get on it, its definatly turning heads.

  • dude slap some flowmaster super 44s!!

i just put some on my '67 and they sound great!

  • Sounds great : ) Are those Kooks LT's 1-5/8", or 1-3/4"?

  • I think 1 5/8"...really not sure. I think I got these before the larger ones were available.

  • i love the sound :)

  • Do you have any trumpeting around 2-2500RPM?

  • Heck yeah! Around 2500-2600 rpm
