Ours never worked but it was a much shorter distance flight. Lucky for you it came back. It would be awful to have a transatlantic flight without the A/V entertainment.

yeah same thing happened to me on a fligh from Atlanta to Dublin(Ireland) they rebooted it about 4 times and thank god it worked in the end
