You guys concentrate on the obvious, such as Curtis' terrible voice and the dull boring tedious songwriting ability of the rest of the band. But what about Sparky? Sparky is supposed to take us on the trip to Hoogie-Boogie by displaying some funky virtuoso kick-ass bass. Yet Sparky fumbles along, barely managing to keep time on the pathetic little riff he has to keep up with. Also note that his eyes are entirely focused on what he's playing.

It's oh so cool to hate on this but yet it's so cool to go on and on about what a masterpiece Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart was when in fact there is music on that album that's about as painful to listen to as this dirge.
