What's disturbing about the Mysterious Stranger isn't that its "evil", its disturbing that this is what Mark Twain actually thought on his death bed. He never properly finished the book, but he genuinely believed life to be a delusion. Some believed he was near insane by the time he died he was so depressed. What's disturbing is that that wasn't Satan's words at the end, they were Twain's. Just as Tom was just a thought, so, in his mind, was he.

Injun Joe the man with the knife he's in Tom Sawyer book. There is nothing bad, creepy, nor evil about this movie. It just a movie journey through mark twain books in a strange way. The movie is made by the people who made California Raisins. Grow up people.
Man, The Mysterious Stranger was the most depressing story I ever read from Twain. It beats out Letters From the Earth. I like how this cartoon shows the "two sides" of Twain as two seperate characters.

Basicly this whole movie is base on mark twain's books. The guy with the mask in the main characater in Mysterious Stranger the guy Satan is so-called the name of the character of the story. Injun Joe the man with the knife he's in Tom Sawyer book. There is nothing bad, creepy, nor evil about this movie. It just a movie journey through mark twain books in a strange way. The movie is made by the people who made California Raisins. Grow up people.

Man, The Mysterious Stranger was the most depressing story I ever read from Twain. It beats out Letters From the Earth. I like how this cartoon shows the "two sides" of Twain as two seperate characters.

I don't think mark twain meant to say that satan actually exists... satan is like the reality, people in our world are nothing but dust, and everyone eventually die.. this video kinda puts you back into proportions.

The mysterious stranger is a peculiar character, the way it portrays satan as a man and a women together with its voice, and how it gives and takes life away, it's actually creepy if you think about it. I would really like to see this show be re made and be put into a movie. The animation is brilliant

...I'm a tad disappointed. I was told by numerous people that this movie (particularly the Mysterious Stranger) terrifies and scars people....and yet it didn't bother me in the slightest

Strange, the first time I saw the movie, this segment was omitted (maybe the VHS version was edited?) But when I saw it another time, it was present. Nightmare fuel this part was.
