i love how instead of just saying oh yea weed is awesome, he gives legitimate reasons for WHY it should be legalized. people are so scared of change, but let's face it.. probably half of the us population smokes weed anyways..
@MsMollyfied Before 1938 almost everyone used marijuana to treat everything from pain ad depression to tumours (cancer). Many compenies had made an oil extract from cannabis sativa or cannabis indica. they have different properties. We have horn swagled and hoodwinked
Prop 19 didn't pass in CA. But it got more votes than any Republican, from Meg Whitman on down. It probably would have passed if Obama hadn't had AG Holder come out just before the election and say the feds would still prosecute. It's like the Christians in Rome. Persecution and martyrs at first. But freedom will someday triumph.
Historically, drug scheduling/criminalization of marijuana (& other drugs) is a social control gambit initiated during the 1970's by the Nixon administration. Law and order was Nixon's 'schtick'. The use of pot by the 'counter culture' was a DIRECT threat to the military-industrial complex. The anti-war/peace movement of the 1960's & early 70's threatened the war machine. Drug scheduling was one of many policies & strategies used to control a social movement that threatened the status quo.
The reason why we prohibit Marijuana and not Alcohol and Tobacco has to do with Political and Policy reasons. More health issues come from Alcohol and Tobacco then from Marijuana. The reason why Marijuana is Prohibited is because Politician's are afraid of looking "soft on crime".
@FRSFreeState There is no crime in smoking marijuana. Marijuana is God's gift to man to alleviate suffering and help make people well. The ciminals are the Big Pharma's and Government's who are trying to produce other drugs to compete with marijuana These man made drugs are harmful to the population, cause added illness and even death. Satan tries to imitate God and is losing terribly.
I agree that personal marijuana use should be legalized and not criminalized but pot is not some miracle cure all drug. It has some potent anti-inflammatory properties when not smoked (smoking irritates and inflames the lungs and causes tar deposition in the airways).
It also has useful anti-emetic and appetite inducing properties. What many big pharmaceutical companies are trying to do is to extract individual cannabinoid compounds, patent certain purified cannabinoid compounds, and in some cases develop more potent derivatives of useful cannabinoids. Calling pharmaceutical companies satanic for simply trying to develop useful drugs that will earn them profits is ridiculous.
@roonalwazlib It cures cancer today, just as it has for thousands of years. It has alleviated the pain and suffering of millions, and you jerks still say it is illegal? There is no polite way to say this. Fuck you and anybody who thinks like you. Big Pharma cares about one thing and one thing only -Its pocketbook. The more shit and garbage they can pump into you the better for them. So what if a few die, right? Pay the families compensation in the millions but make billions off the drug.
....Even though you are a jerk I will tell you how you cure cancer. Take one pound of marijuana buds and make an oil out of it. You get about two ounces. In case of skin cancer rub it on and put a bandaid over it, cancer gone in a few days. Eat the oil for other cancers including gliomas, breast, lymph, etc. A company in the U.S. is producing this large scale now for skin cancer.
... Everyones body has cannabinoid receptors + Marijuana has cannabinoids = Best all round healing plant of all time. Great for mild to moderate chronic pain, depression, cancer, to relieve muscle cramps, and much more. Helps repair and grow new neurons so is good for head injuries, helps a person sleep, and on and on with medical benefits. I am not waiting for some corporation to tell me when, how, and if I use marijuana to treat my medical conditions! It's my right!
On the issue of cannabis and cancer, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about nor do you possess the scientific data to back it up. Apparently for uber pot enthusiasts like yourself it's acceptable to just pull medical "facts" right out of your own ass to support your case.
@roonalwazlib Bullshit! a company in the U.S. is curing cancer with a marijuana oil extract for skin cancer. THREE patients healed in clinical trials and fda approval on the way. Cannabis Science for those who want to investigate. (Buy some shares if smart) I told you I am an expert on marijuana and its medicinal properties. I mean you should know you are beat before you start.
I pointed out the medically accepted anti-inflammatory benefits of cannabis. It's a potent anti-inflammatory agent and immunomodulator. Because it reduces inflammation it almost certainly reduces the development of some cancers. Certain cannabinoids are also useful in treating severe brain trauma, again due to anti-inflammatory effects (i.e. reduction of brain swelling).
@SuperNewf1 It's just as likely however that because the immune system is necessary to detect and destroy cancer cells, suppressing it through long term cannabis use (and the science clearly indicates that it does suppress the immune system) could lead to a greater risk for developing other types of cancers (for example oral and throat cancers in people with certain other risk factors like oral HPV infections).
@roonalwazlib Our immune system is only strong beause we produce Endo-Cannibinoids naturally that fight off disease. Cannabinoids found in the marijuana plant are the only other place these healing Cannabinoids can be found. There are at least 66 known Canabinoids and each one attaches to receptors in the body that are already there to accept our natural Endo-Cannabinoids. This enhances greatly our chances for healing, recovery, and cure.
Equally clear is that smoking any plant material leads to carbon deposits in the lungs (i.e. tar) and that over time that tar could potentially lead to the development of cancer, emphysema, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Due to the amounts that tend to be smoked in comparison to tobacco smokers and the chemical compounds found in that tar the risk of cancer from smoking pot is less than that from tobacco use, but it's still there.
Second, I never once said that I agree with the current illegal status of marijuana consumption in this country. If a state wants to legalize its production and consumption, both of which occur wholly intrastate, as far as I'm concerned a state should be able to do that, the opinions of the Scalia and the 5 consistently pro centralized power left wing Supreme Court Justices in Gonzales v. Raich be damned.
I really don't want to talk to idiots like Obama and Harper and such neanderthal, ignorant personalities, but I am forced too. If I do not steal from you in any way, do not lie to you, and pose no physical threat to you whatsoever, then why do you try to take my marijuana medicine by force and fine me and make me unemployable? and a long list of ther atrocities committed against my mind and body? Do I force you to stop drinking alcohol? or cigarettes? or coffee? or too mch sugar?
@SuperNewf1 I'm alive because of marijuana. Suffering severe disabling injuries after being thrown from dragged and crushed by a small train. As a result have endured Chronic Pain from head to toe, and a post concussion syndrome and cannot walk or stand for long because I will get blood clots above my severely crushed ankle. currently I use nothing but marijuana for pain and depression and it has relieved some stress at being subjected to this lifetime of hell. Look for "leaf"
If an adult wants to put cannabis or any other drug (even one produced and distributed by big pharma that ends up screwing up their health down the road) into their own body, the federal government shouldn't have any say in the matter if the drug in question never crossed state or international lines. But if the drug in question did cross state or international lines, then that undoubtedly falls within the province of the federal government to regulate.
@SuperNewf1 In all instances the states have the power to regulate products produced and consumed within their own borders as they see fit in the interests of the health and welfare of their own citizens. That's the price of living within a federalist system that prizes democratic law making.
@roonalwazlib Well your citizens are telling you to start doing some regulation and ensure medical patiets have the option of which treatments they will take. Did you know marijuana use for helping wean people off alcholism, and minor to moderate pain would benefit all by creating a farming industry, reducing use of harmful chemicals, help feed livestock and people, and many other positive benefits for you and me. The hemp plant is not our enemy, our laws are.
@roonalwazlib "regulate products produced" Marijuana is not produced, it is not a production, it is grown, a plant, for peronal use, no commerce involved. no one wold be selling this stuff anywhere except for the fact it is illegal. The Fed's are making money off the crminaization of this next to harmless plant that even though has side effects and I know it does because I have experienced them, it still does not take away from the purely medicinal use of this wonderful plant.
And thirdly, if some big pharma company wants to spend its money developing more potent and effective stand alone derivatives of cannabinoid compounds to treat specified medical conditions, who the fuck are you to tell them they can't?! No one is forcing anyone to consume anything produced by big pharma in this country. People do so of their own free will.
@roonalwazlib Go ahead!. I am not stopping any company from making any compound that invloves the marijuana plant and is used for healing the sick. You see I am not a psycho. But the people that deny me my right to treat my medical conditions with this proven medical miracle, is the crime against me!! They are the psychos and make me suffer terribly. My message to goverment is to stay the fuck out of my medical care because you are all incompetent.
The pharma companies spend billions developing new useful drugs. Those drugs often have nasty side effects, many of which are known before the drug is ever put on the market, are listed exhaustively in the drug commercials, and can be found listed on the fact sheet you get with a prescription. Others are only discovered, and realistically can only be discovered, after the drugs are widely used by a broad cross section of the population.
@SuperNewf1 If you don't want to be a guinea pig for the pharma companies then don't consume their new products. If you're smart you wait until all the side effects become evident after the drug has been on the market for a number of years and then make an informed decision about what you're willing to put into your body. The same is true for people consuming illegal drugs.
To believe that marijuana is some wonderful cure all with absolutely no potential side effects, either short or long term, is idiotic. It's a very useful plant in terms of the potential medical benefits it can provide, but it's not without its downsides, especially when smoked long term.
@SuperNewf1 The fact is however that most of the people advocating its medical benefits have no desire to use it for those potential benefits. They just want to get high. I have no problem with that. But at least have the stones to admit it.
@SuperNewf1 The fact is however that most of the people advocating its medical benefits have no desire to use it for those potential benefits. They just want to get high. I have no problem with that. But at least have the stones to admit it.
@roonalwazlib Don't lecture me please. I am an expert. Marijuana's medicinal properties have been known for centuries. Saved my own life with it.These fucking sub humans make diseases just so they can make money figuring out how to treat it. The whole world is just a lab and you and me the rats. Depopulation is an agenda that has been implemented since at least 1910. Every political leader subscribes to this philosophy and actively encourages corprations to carry out the mandate.
@FRSFreeState No it isn't.sorry but it is because they get a great revenue steam from picking up 15 year olds and chargig them with possession of pot. 5 minute arrest and booking, 10 hours paper work. 1 hour court. 2 years probation officers 1 year of forced Narcotics treatment program, labeled, classified, criminal, for carrying a plant in his pocket. DUUUUUHH!!!!!!
@FRSFreeState I hope for your sake your ignorance level will drop. but some people don't want to do that for hemselves. The just think someself serving politicians will tell them the truth. HAHAHA!
cannabis cures Californians register to vote yes on 19 this november 2nd. will save billions from not incarcerating adults over 21 and also tax revenues for our state
OKAY THIS IS DUMB! NO MATTER IF ITS LEGAL OR NOT I AM GOING TO GROW IT IN MY OWN HOUSE AND SMOKE IT INSTEAD OF BUYING THAT SHIT. IF YOU BUY MJ YOUR DUMB! JUST GROW IT YOURSELF.
@Juturn4 dude in the 1600s people were jailed because they didnt grow marijuana. they needed it to make paper, ropes and some other shit. so they did have the time AND the land needed to grow it.
@mozo25 I'm aware people had to grow hemp and alcohol's prohibition was a failure. I don't see how this is relevant to my comments. I think you just saw what I posted and didn't bother to check what I was replying to.
@BAYAREAism We got a guy in Canada that was kidnapped by the DEA with the help of the Canadian government for selling seeds. He is doing 5 years in the U.S. He is a model prisoner. Of course that is because he is a highly intelligent normal human being and not a criminal. His name is MARC EMERY. Send him back to us please.
Just want mention that the US is responsible for all the Drug Wars all over the world. So they shouldn't stop at the federal level. This is something they have to take world wide.
Political freedom for people who want and take the liberty to have drugs use safely We have a political group who goal is to stop drug abuse by changing the laws so people can use drugs in a safe way . done for the love of liberty
The guy in balck shirt...smoking the spliff.......has got to be Nick Gillespie!!!! HAHA. FreckleSmoker is right. MJ is just like alcohol. People use it responsibly and irresponsibly and like alcohol, should be legalized. I am for legalization some small form of regulation.
The only thing I see here is a theofascist who would claim to be in favor of freedom while not really meaning it, who will castigate others for advocating policies that would raise taxts while at the same time thinking that throwing people for smoking a plant in jail for Jeebus is kewl. Now why am I not surprised?

@Odenkay Read up some studies. Marijuana is safer in all aspects than alcohol. In a list of most dangerous drugs alcohol is around the 5th or 6th place while marijuana is in 16.
There is no reason ban hay. But there is no reason to demand the removal of the ban in order to get to use hay. The whole question of hay is used by the elite as a tool for popularity.
@teemuruskeepaa Actually future wise good taxpaying potheads like myself is a valid reason to be discussed in legal terms, allot of successfull people are stoners. nearly all the pot smokers are not pathologicaly slow and careless pampered teens who see the world in black and white, that's just a stereotype.
@teemuruskeepaa Alcohol isn't good for you, tobacco isn't good for you, mcdonalds isn't good for you, should we prohibit the consumption of these products?
@Juturn4 Why do they sell products that aren't good for you? How do the leaders allow that and why don't they help people to live healthy lives? How can we teach people to live healthy?
Why do they sell products that aren't good for you?
B/c people buy and enjoy consuming them. Duh!
How do the leaders allow that and why don't they help people to live healthy lives?
They "allow" that b/c it's not the business of leaders in a free society to tell people what they can and cannot put into their bodies. They don't help people live healthy lives b/c that's not their function. Their function is to govern in a non-arbitrary manner.
You can't! Stupid people will sit on their asses all day eating cheeseburgers and fried chicken and engaging in self destructive behavior. As long as they're paying for the consequences of their actions and not expecting taxpayers to pay for their medical care I'm cool with that. Unfortunately that's not what happens. Years of trying to educate people on a healthy lifestyle through the public school system has failed.
Smart people will choose to educate themselves on the requirements for a healthy mind and body and act accordingly. No amount of teaching and throwing money at the problem will change that.
Pot use is going to explode.... everyone is going to become an instant pot head. Its going to go through high schools everywhere like a wild fire. I am not convinced that pot is a dangerous drug, but I hate the mentality. I am not against decriminalizing it, but I hate the mentality. "oh how should we relax? I know lets get wasted all day and night!" People are going to be high while driving, high at dinner, high all the damn time. Its going to be around children WAY more.... *sigh*
@LovesMassEffect A couple of my old acquaintances are pot heads and I know from just being around them, they would get high all the damn time if they could. If they could they would spend every free minute they had high.... Everyone says its not addictive, and medically its not, but people who have it, smoke it every single chance they get.
@LovesMassEffect we do that already with alcohol, and alcohol is more dangerous. alcohol is a depressant it doesn't make you feel good. pot make you feel good and lessens stress. its not a bad thing its a good thing.
@teemuruskeepaa no, it just mean you have less stress than the people who would be interested in using it. pot make you feel good even when your not really feeling too good.
@cokacutter ok, but I don't take pot even if I felt horrible. Then I would either rest, change my lifestyle or go to a doctor. Taking pot is fundamentally stupid.
@cokacutter I hate when people say that's your opinion. I care. Opinions in Neoliberalism are a matter taste, you like this, I don't like this. That's so idiotic. Opinions and freedom of speech is not the freedom of taste, it is to become the target open discussion.
no, what im just saying is winning a fight online is like winning the special Olympics, in teh end your still retarded. if i wanted to change your opinion i would do something greater than fight with 1 person online. its just a waste of time. and if i wanted to discuss i would do something on my channel. not fight with 1 person.
@cokacutter to take part in open discussion and become the target of open criticism. You do not have the right to have an opinion and then refuse from discussion, because then you are not anything else but a tyrant, whose dictating other people what you think. Neoliberal 20 somethings also say "you are a dictator for pushing you criticisms on me". That's sick too.
@teemuruskeepaa And why is taking pot fundamentally stupid? Is taking alcohol fundamentally stupid? How about prescription drugs? Tobacco? Any other substance? And why not? Because they're deemed "socially safe" or because they're not demonized? You do realize that every other substance on this planet has a higher chance of killing you than marijuana alone, correct? You can die from eating 10 raw potatoes. Should we outlaw that? Alcohol kills 90,000 people annually, let's prohibit that. Oh wait.
@PullyElbow27 It's stupid because it doesn't make you feel better. It postpones the symptoms and probably also make them worse, without the users having control of their lives and health. Just these kinds of mediocre post-teens use them, who think "that's your opinion". 20 somethings may not know themselves and they should not benefit from trips of intoxication. Alcohol should be socially deemed unsafe too.
Well, I won't judge you on the lack of logic when you're sober, if you don't judge me for enjoying a glass of wine over dinner, or with friends. As for those of the citizenry who wish to drink or smoke or get stoned, as long as they do so without endangering others, I think it's their business. This Constitution Thing we have here suggests they also enjoy the RIGHT to do so, even if Congress & people like you don't agree.
@teemuruskeepaa Really? So you can speak for everyone, including those who use marijuana to feel better and get some relief at the end of a hard work day? If it is not hurting you in any way, then why the fuck do you care what anyone else does with their body?
@PullyElbow27 Why would you suffer from such a work that you become ill and then fool your body to think there is nothing wrong for the rest of the day?
@teemuruskeepaa Because people turn to substances to relax after they had a stressful day? I rather have a joint/blunt over a glass of toxic alcohol any day. I apologize if everyone's life is not as stress free as yours, but most people have to work to earn a living, and with work, comes stress.
Regardless, it is not a matter of whether or not the substance is safe or not (which marijuana is), it's a matter of human rights. Do you own your body or does the government?
@teemuruskeepaa It's sick to want to feel relief from a stressful day? And are you also actively advocating the prohibiton of alcohol? A lot of people do the same thing with alcohol, relieve stress at the end of a hard work day.
@PullyElbow27 Yes, because it is not truthful to your body and mind. Feeling is not good, regardless of what corporations tell in commercials. Health and stable management of life requires a bit more abstract ideas. You know it's true when you feel sick afterwards.
@teemuruskeepaa That's your opinion, but I'd rather be stoned some of the time, mainly due to the fact that I simply like it. A little variety is healthy, straight edge is dumb in my book.
@frecklesmoker Well you do sound reckless by telling me "whatever douche". Do you think they are going to grant you the liberty to smoke pot with that kind of attitude to your critics? The whole issue of pot is ridiculous and should be laughed out from the parliament. And all pot users are 21, pathologically slow and careless pampered teens who see everything in black and white. It's a silly lifestyle to be discussed in the context of legal status.
@teemuruskeepaa whats wrong with people enjoying themselves you self rightous prick? do you enjoy a good novel like alice in wonderland? well if you do you like the rambling of an opium user! it is our bodies and provided we dont harm other people we should be allowed to do what we want. look at what happens when a person takes drugs... they write a good book?! they discuss philosophical theories?! they laugh and smile?! those fiendish bastards! how dare they enjoy themselves!!!
@xYETIx007x Think Communitarianism. People are happy with long-lasting and fulfilling relationships and the ability to get along with different people. It is not critique to say stop using pot or alcohol.
@xYETIx007x Precisely my point, specifically in Marijuana's case, the Government should not be able to wield power over what decisions people make unto themselves unless it directly interferes with other peoples' lives.
It's the same with gay marriage, what is the gay community doing to disrupt american lives? The answer? Absolutely nothing. There's just a following of self-righteous assholes that think jeebus is on their side and that weed is the green devil scourge of life.
I have no problems with gay marriage, as far as I'm concerned what people choose to do in their private lives is their business so long as no one's rights are being violated, but I don't think it's entirely accurate to say that the gay community is doing "absolutely nothing" to disrupt American's lives.
When tens of thousands of homosexuals descend on downtown New Orleans or San Francisco and parade through the streets wearing little to nothing, shouting down and in some cases beating up their detractors, and engaging in promiscuous public sex acts, I'd say that disrupts some people's lives. If gays want to get married, more power to them, but when they gather in large groups that should, at the very least, heed public decency laws
If it's legalized, more people will smoke marijuana, but people won't be smoking marijuana all the time. If you're caught driving while high, you will still get a DUI. Look at alcohol, are you telling me that the majority of people are wasted all day?
Most people won't waste their day getting high. Those who would most likely already do. Look at places with lenient marijuana laws/legalized marijuana. You don't have those problems.
@LovesMassEffect There would obviously be an age limit so that people of a sensitive age group would not be allowed to purchase it. In the places where drugs have been decriminalized (ie Portugal) reports of usage have actually decreased. And more importantly, why should your set of morals be the standard for all people? Shouldn't everyone be allowed to make their own choices? If you don't like people who smoke pot, then don't associate with them. Nobody is going to force you to consume it.
@downsizedc Because, once legal, it will be an industry, and wherever money changes hands, there's potential for abuse. All industries are regulated, as they should be, to keep business owners accountable to their workers and customers. Regulations would ensure quality and safety. Grit weed would disappear, as would most schwag, and, depending on how well regulated the industry was, no seeds. If weed becomes legal, you will be smoking better weed for cheaper prices.
@downsizedc Quite right. The only "regulation" on the supply side that is needed is impartial enforcement of dollar-for-dollar's-worth contracts. And yes, that should happen at the state level.
then why do I read EVERYDAY about this or that dispensary or medical grower being busted. If its legal some one better tell the Feds cause they don't know.
I agree with everything Dr. Fichtner said other than his prediction that if California passes Proposition 19, many other states will follow suit. California has a more severe budget problem than other states, and is particularly pro-marijuana. Still, one can always hope.
I think pot should be decriminalized on general principal just to end the debate. It's plant. For years now I have been saying, "If the US's giant uber problem is stoners sitting in a bacement smokin' pot and watching Family Guy, we don't have a problem".
MURDER
RAPE
EXTORTION (TAX)
THEFT (TAX)
HURTING SOMEONE
These are real problems with REAL victoms, not some person smoking a plant. Though solving these problems only helps the citizens, not government, WAKE UP.
Impressive, literate, informed and articulate. National marijuana and hemp re-legalization would free immense amounts of resources towards immediate environmental and social problems. Save The Planet!
Marijuana is the poster-plant for truth in gov't. this plant shows how much they lie & disrespect us. it shows how much control they have and want. it shows how they deny us God & constitution granted freedoms.it shows the true desires of those in power is not freedom. the only creation that God ever condemned as evil of itself was man. only man is ignorant enough to say he talks to God and God told him this plant was evil. bullshit. you want to control ppl. you sick pos. die with ur oppression!
it's a plant. i have every right as a free american and a child of God to posess it. No man has a right or is given the power by the us constitution or God to tell me I can't.
So they want to legalize it to make money off of it? lol that sux because they will control the production and sales and it will be more expensive than ever.
It's became a subject where if you are a antipot person you are just ignorant to the facts. With high medical cost today why can't we self medicate with a natural inexpensive plant thats safer than asprin?
when people stop calling it"Marijuana" , and start calling it what it is "HEMP" we might begin to make some head way. As long as we associate it with this "Mexican Slang" term peoples conditioning will kick in and there sub- conscious will raise a danger alert. ITS HEMP PEOPLE, HEMP
@kawuabonga ..go to my page and watch my video sMoKeScReEn-Jack Herer . and educate yourself....you must be a young person.....if you don't know history
@kawuabonga .go to my page and watch my video sMoKeScReEn-Jack Herer . and educate yourself....you must be a young person.....if you don't know history
@krypekeeper .go to my page and watch my video sMoKeScReEn-Jack Herer . and educate yourself....you must be a young person.....if you don't know history
@cjrush1009 ...its all about deprogramming dude...and as far as a name change it has always been hemp....go to my page and watch my video sMoKeScReEn-Jack Herer . and educate yourself....
@TheTwistedGypsy de-programming or RE-PROGRAMMING? Hemp does not describe marijuana. Thats like calling all flowers "Floral Foliage". Hemp comes in diffrent strains Cannabis sativa L. subsp. sativa var. sativa is the variety grown for industrial use, while C. sativa subsp. indica generally has poor fiber quality and is primarily used for production of recreational and medicinal drugs. We have legalized Marijuana without playing name games.
@cjrush1009 yea so what people come in different colors but we are all human, corn comes in different kinds and its still corn.....the genetic structure that makes hemp hemp.is all the same, the level of THC makes no difference, and neither does giving it fancy names...go watch the vid on my page in my uploads ...smokescreen by Jack Herer...the man who first STARTED breeding then to get different strains...your arguing an indefensible point bro....history proves you wrong...not me..
@TheTwistedGypsy No, it's BOTH... Marijuana or 'marihuana' dude? I believe that's why they changed the j to an h for awhile for the Mexican connotation. I understand YOU want it all to be called hemp, but that's simply a broad term for the species.. If I asked my girlfriend to hand me the marijuana, she'd give me a sack with marijuana, if I asked for the hemp, she'd hand me the twine she bought at wal-mart to make a leash for the dog. Can't change history, and I'm not ignorant of it.
@Clyaton a broad term...no...the only term used untill 1937 and that sure don't change what it was and has been known as for over 6000 years.don't you get it...its not about good ol marry jane its about "HEMP" thats what they want to keep away from us. Go to my channel and in my uploads you will see a vid called smokescreen Jack Herer, and all will be made clear....fuk the semantics, the rabbit hole is way deeper than that.
DUDE, I know the fucking history. I check norml everyf'in day. I tell people about prop 19... I know what fucking HEMP is... It WAS (NOT NOW) the more commonly used TERM... The name of the CANNABIS plant is irrelevant at this point. Calling it all hemp doesn't change ANYTHING, what we need to change are the laws. I know about Hearst and Anslinger, Nylon, standard oil. I know my shit.. I know who Jack Herer is and I've read "The Emperor Wears no Clothes." So stop spamming about ur channel
@Clyaton oh well excuse me ...ALL BOW BEFORE THE GREAT LORD OF KNOWLEDGE......The point and not the one on the top of your head....IS.....hemp has more value to mankind than just its ability to be used as a medicine, that in fact is the LEAST of its uses, so go ahead and beat the Marijuana drum while its true value is ignored.....ps knowing something DOESN'T mean you understand it.....

FRSFreeState 1 year ago 2
@FRSFreeState There is no crime in smoking marijuana. Marijuana is God's gift to man to alleviate suffering and help make people well. The ciminals are the Big Pharma's and Government's who are trying to produce other drugs to compete with marijuana These man made drugs are harmful to the population, cause added illness and even death. Satan tries to imitate God and is losing terribly.
SuperNewf1 8 months ago
@SuperNewf1
I agree that personal marijuana use should be legalized and not criminalized but pot is not some miracle cure all drug. It has some potent anti-inflammatory properties when not smoked (smoking irritates and inflames the lungs and causes tar deposition in the airways).
roonalwazlib 6 months ago
@roonalwazlib You are absolutely wrong in your first sentnce. And right in the latter half.
SuperNewf1 3 days ago
It also has useful anti-emetic and appetite inducing properties. What many big pharmaceutical companies are trying to do is to extract individual cannabinoid compounds, patent certain purified cannabinoid compounds, and in some cases develop more potent derivatives of useful cannabinoids. Calling pharmaceutical companies satanic for simply trying to develop useful drugs that will earn them profits is ridiculous.
roonalwazlib 6 months ago
@roonalwazlib It cures cancer today, just as it has for thousands of years. It has alleviated the pain and suffering of millions, and you jerks still say it is illegal? There is no polite way to say this. Fuck you and anybody who thinks like you. Big Pharma cares about one thing and one thing only -Its pocketbook. The more shit and garbage they can pump into you the better for them. So what if a few die, right? Pay the families compensation in the millions but make billions off the drug.
SuperNewf1 6 months ago
....Even though you are a jerk I will tell you how you cure cancer.
SuperNewf1 6 months ago
SuperNewf1 6 months ago
@SuperNewf1
On the issue of cannabis and cancer, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about nor do you possess the scientific data to back it up. Apparently for uber pot enthusiasts like yourself it's acceptable to just pull medical "facts" right out of your own ass to support your case.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib Bullshit! a company in the U.S. is curing cancer with a marijuana oil extract for skin cancer. THREE patients healed in clinical trials and fda approval on the way. Cannabis Science for those who want to investigate. (Buy some shares if smart) I told you I am an expert on marijuana and its medicinal properties. I mean you should know you are beat before you start.
SuperNewf1 1 day ago
@SuperNewf1
I pointed out the medically accepted anti-inflammatory benefits of cannabis. It's a potent anti-inflammatory agent and immunomodulator. Because it reduces inflammation it almost certainly reduces the development of some cancers. Certain cannabinoids are also useful in treating severe brain trauma, again due to anti-inflammatory effects (i.e. reduction of brain swelling).
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1 It's just as likely however that because the immune system is necessary to detect and destroy cancer cells, suppressing it through long term cannabis use (and the science clearly indicates that it does suppress the immune system) could lead to a greater risk for developing other types of cancers (for example oral and throat cancers in people with certain other risk factors like oral HPV infections).
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib Our immune system is only strong beause we produce Endo-Cannibinoids naturally that fight off disease. Cannabinoids found in the marijuana plant are the only other place these healing Cannabinoids can be found. There are at least 66 known Canabinoids and each one attaches to receptors in the body that are already there to accept our natural Endo-Cannabinoids. This enhances greatly our chances for healing, recovery, and cure.
SuperNewf1 1 day ago
@SuperNewf1
Equally clear is that smoking any plant material leads to carbon deposits in the lungs (i.e. tar) and that over time that tar could potentially lead to the development of cancer, emphysema, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Due to the amounts that tend to be smoked in comparison to tobacco smokers and the chemical compounds found in that tar the risk of cancer from smoking pot is less than that from tobacco use, but it's still there.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1
Raich be damned.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
I really don't want to talk to idiots like Obama and Harper and such neanderthal, ignorant personalities, but I am forced too. If I do not steal from you in any way, do not lie to you, and pose no physical threat to you whatsoever, then why do you try to take my marijuana medicine by force and fine me and make me unemployable? and a long list of ther atrocities committed against my mind and body? Do I force you to stop drinking alcohol? or cigarettes? or coffee? or too mch sugar?

Look for "leaf"

@SuperNewf1
If an adult wants to put cannabis or any other drug (even one produced and distributed by big pharma that ends up screwing up their health down the road) into their own body, the federal government shouldn't have any say in the matter if the drug in question never crossed state or international lines. But if the drug in question did cross state or international lines, then that undoubtedly falls within the province of the federal government to regulate.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1 In all instances the states have the power to regulate products produced and consumed within their own borders as they see fit in the interests of the health and welfare of their own citizens. That's the price of living within a federalist system that prizes democratic law making.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib Well your citizens are telling you to start doing some regulation and ensure medical patiets have the option of which treatments they will take. Did you know marijuana use for helping wean people off alcholism, and minor to moderate pain would benefit all by creating a farming industry, reducing use of harmful chemicals, help feed livestock and people, and many other positive benefits for you and me. The hemp plant is not our enemy, our laws are.
SuperNewf1 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib "regulate products produced" Marijuana is not produced, it is not a production, it is grown, a plant, for peronal use, no commerce involved. no one wold be selling this stuff anywhere except for the fact it is illegal. The Fed's are making money off the crminaization of this next to harmless plant that even though has side effects and I know it does because I have experienced them, it still does not take away from the purely medicinal use of this wonderful plant.
SuperNewf1 1 day ago
@SuperNewf1
And thirdly, if some big pharma company wants to spend its money developing more potent and effective stand alone derivatives of cannabinoid compounds to treat specified medical conditions, who the fuck are you to tell them they can't?! No one is forcing anyone to consume anything produced by big pharma in this country. People do so of their own free will.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib Go ahead!. I am not stopping any company from making any compound that invloves the marijuana plant and is used for healing the sick. You see I am not a psycho. But the people that deny me my right to treat my medical conditions with this proven medical miracle, is the crime against me!! They are the psychos and make me suffer terribly. My message to goverment is to stay the fuck out of my medical care because you are all incompetent.
SuperNewf1 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1
The pharma companies spend billions developing new useful drugs. Those drugs often have nasty side effects, many of which are known before the drug is ever put on the market, are listed exhaustively in the drug commercials, and can be found listed on the fact sheet you get with a prescription. Others are only discovered, and realistically can only be discovered, after the drugs are widely used by a broad cross section of the population.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1 If you don't want to be a guinea pig for the pharma companies then don't consume their new products. If you're smart you wait until all the side effects become evident after the drug has been on the market for a number of years and then make an informed decision about what you're willing to put into your body. The same is true for people consuming illegal drugs.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@roonalwazlib Marijuana is not illegal. The laws are.
SuperNewf1 2 days ago
@SuperNewf1
To believe that marijuana is some wonderful cure all with absolutely no potential side effects, either short or long term, is idiotic. It's a very useful plant in terms of the potential medical benefits it can provide, but it's not without its downsides, especially when smoked long term.
roonalwazlib 3 days ago
@SuperNewf1 The fact is however that most of the people advocating its medical benefits have no desire to use it for those potential benefits. They just want to get high. I have no problem with that. But at least have the stones to admit it.

They "allow" that b/c it's not the business of leaders in a free society to tell people what they can and cannot put into their bodies. They don't help people live healthy lives b/c that's not their function. Their function is to govern in a non-arbitrary manner.
roonalwazlib 6 months ago
How can we teach people to live healthy?

@teemuruskeepaa whats wrong with people enjoying themselves you self rightous prick? do you enjoy a good novel like alice in wonderland? well if you do you like the rambling of an opium user! it is our bodies and provided we dont harm other people we should be allowed to do what we want. look at what happens when a person takes drugs... they write a good book?! they discuss philosophical theories?! they laugh and smile?! those fiendish bastards! how dare they enjoy themselves!!!
xYETIx007x 1 year ago 11
@xYETIx007x Think Communitarianism. People are happy with long-lasting and fulfilling relationships and the ability to get along with different people. It is not critique to say stop using pot or alcohol.
That's a psychological denial response.
teemuruskeepaa 1 year ago
@xYETIx007x I HATE WHEN PEOPLE ARE HAPPY! STOP HAVING FUN! AAAAAGGGHHH!
thoth81 1 year ago
@xYETIx007x Precisely my point, specifically in Marijuana's case, the Government should not be able to wield power over what decisions people make unto themselves unless it directly interferes with other peoples' lives.
It's the same with gay marriage, what is the gay community doing to disrupt american lives? The answer? Absolutely nothing. There's just a following of self-righteous assholes that think jeebus is on their side and that weed is the green devil scourge of life.
drpeppa2357 9 months ago
@drpeppa2357
I have no problems with gay marriage, as far as I'm concerned what people choose to do in their private lives is their business so long as no one's rights are being violated, but I don't think it's entirely accurate to say that the gay community is doing "absolutely nothing" to disrupt American's lives.
roonalwazlib 6 months ago
When tens of thousands of homosexuals descend on downtown New Orleans or San Francisco and parade through the streets wearing little to nothing, shouting down and in some cases beating up their detractors, and engaging in promiscuous public sex acts, I'd say that disrupts some people's lives. If gays want to get married, more power to them, but when they gather in large groups that should, at the very least, heed public decency laws
roonalwazlib 6 months ago
@LovesMassEffect Would you smoke pot if it was legalized?
If it's legalized, more people will smoke marijuana, but people won't be smoking marijuana all the time. If you're caught driving while high, you will still get a DUI. Look at alcohol, are you telling me that the majority of people are wasted all day?
Most people won't waste their day getting high. Those who would most likely already do. Look at places with lenient marijuana laws/legalized marijuana. You don't have those problems.
NoNameC68 1 year ago
@LovesMassEffect There would obviously be an age limit so that people of a sensitive age group would not be allowed to purchase it. In the places where drugs have been decriminalized (ie Portugal) reports of usage have actually decreased. And more importantly, why should your set of morals be the standard for all people? Shouldn't everyone be allowed to make their own choices? If you don't like people who smoke pot, then don't associate with them. Nobody is going to force you to consume it.
d0861 1 year ago
The only reason I'm against legalization of Marijuana is because most pot smokers are liberals. So there, clearly pot is bad for you.

Great video, but really, still joints? Use a vaporizer!
Smoking weed is dangerous. Vaporizing it is 100% awesome.

Great stuff up until the last point. Why does the federal government need to regulate cannibis? Age restrictions, etc. belong at the state level.
downsizedc 1 year ago
@downsizedc Because, once legal, it will be an industry, and wherever money changes hands, there's potential for abuse. All industries are regulated, as they should be, to keep business owners accountable to their workers and customers. Regulations would ensure quality and safety. Grit weed would disappear, as would most schwag, and, depending on how well regulated the industry was, no seeds. If weed becomes legal, you will be smoking better weed for cheaper prices.
yerk3 1 year ago
@downsizedc Quite right. The only "regulation" on the supply side that is needed is impartial enforcement of dollar-for-dollar's-worth contracts. And yes, that should happen at the state level.

Marijuana is the poster-plant for truth in gov't. this plant shows how much they lie & disrespect us. it shows how much control they have and want. it shows how they deny us God & constitution granted freedoms.it shows the true desires of those in power is not freedom. the only creation that God ever condemned as evil of itself was man. only man is ignorant enough to say he talks to God and God told him this plant was evil. bullshit. you want to control ppl. you sick pos. die with ur oppression!
nedmorlef 1 year ago
it's a plant. i have every right as a free american and a child of God to posess it. No man has a right or is given the power by the us constitution or God to tell me I can't.
nedmorlef 1 year ago
@nedmorlef
One thing - you are NOT a free American ! The Constitution grants you NOTHING - nothing !
- - And is actually a psychological implant to make you THINK you are free !
"There are none so enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free" [Goethe]
Americans who think they're free are going to have a rude awakening when it dawns on them how incarcerated they truly are !

when people stop calling it"Marijuana" , and start calling it what it is "HEMP" we might begin to make some head way. As long as we associate it with this "Mexican Slang" term peoples conditioning will kick in and there sub- conscious will raise a danger alert. ITS HEMP PEOPLE, HEMP

@TheTwistedGypsy We have "Medical Marijuana" dispensaries. Your idea of making things more palatable through changing the name is ridiculous.
cjrush1009 1 year ago
@cjrush1009 ...its all about deprogramming dude...and as far as a name change it has always been hemp....go to my page and watch my video sMoKeScReEn-Jack Herer . and educate yourself....
TheTwistedGypsy 1 year ago
@TheTwistedGypsy de-programming or RE-PROGRAMMING? Hemp does not describe marijuana. Thats like calling all flowers "Floral Foliage". Hemp comes in diffrent strains Cannabis sativa L. subsp. sativa var. sativa is the variety grown for industrial use, while C. sativa subsp. indica generally has poor fiber quality and is primarily used for production of recreational and medicinal drugs. We have legalized Marijuana without playing name games.
cjrush1009 1 year ago
@cjrush1009 yea so what people come in different colors but we are all human, corn comes in different kinds and its still corn.....the genetic structure that makes hemp hemp.is all the same, the level of THC makes no difference, and neither does giving it fancy names...go watch the vid on my page in my uploads ...smokescreen by Jack Herer...the man who first STARTED breeding then to get different strains...your arguing an indefensible point bro....history proves you wrong...not me..
TheTwistedGypsy 1 year ago
@TheTwistedGypsy YOU ARE NOT LISTENING: WE HAVE ALREADY LEGALIZED IT. WE CALL IT MARIJUANA AND ITS LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL !!!!
cjrush1009 1 year ago
@TheTwistedGypsy No, it's BOTH... Marijuana or 'marihuana' dude? I believe that's why they changed the j to an h for awhile for the Mexican connotation. I understand YOU want it all to be called hemp, but that's simply a broad term for the species.. If I asked my girlfriend to hand me the marijuana, she'd give me a sack with marijuana, if I asked for the hemp, she'd hand me the twine she bought at wal-mart to make a leash for the dog. Can't change history, and I'm not ignorant of it.
Clyaton 1 year ago
@Clyaton a broad term...no...the only term used untill 1937 and that sure don't change what it was and has been known as for over 6000 years.don't you get it...its not about good ol marry jane its about "HEMP" thats what they want to keep away from us. Go to my channel and in my uploads you will see a vid called smokescreen Jack Herer, and all will be made clear....fuk the semantics, the rabbit hole is way deeper than that.
TheTwistedGypsy 1 year ago
DUDE, I know the fucking history. I check norml everyf'in day. I tell people about prop 19... I know what fucking HEMP is... It WAS (NOT NOW) the more commonly used TERM... The name of the CANNABIS plant is irrelevant at this point. Calling it all hemp doesn't change ANYTHING, what we need to change are the laws. I know about Hearst and Anslinger, Nylon, standard oil. I know my shit.. I know who Jack Herer is and I've read "The Emperor Wears no Clothes." So stop spamming about ur channel
Clyaton 1 year ago
@Clyaton oh well excuse me ...ALL BOW BEFORE THE GREAT LORD OF KNOWLEDGE......The point and not the one on the top of your head....IS.....hemp has more value to mankind than just its ability to be used as a medicine, that in fact is the LEAST of its uses, so go ahead and beat the Marijuana drum while its true value is ignored.....ps knowing something DOESN'T mean you understand it.....
