You don't necessarily need evidence, rationality and reasons can suffice without evidence.

Also, not all atheists believe there are no UFOs. In fact, most atheists do. Just that the Anti-Theistic or rather the National-Religious Atheists don't. They are not really atheist, they do believe in a god, they just call their god the U.S. constitution, Ronald Reagan, the United States Government, or something else.
