Cont: I was the captain on the tug Marsha L and was explaining to a friend onshore what the delay was. The reporter taped my 2 meter ham radio transmission and then asked if I could stand out side the door and wave...I didn't know that I would appear on the TV that night but it was great, 30 seconds of fame.
I've also contacted the Old RR Bridge Association and they have no record of this video either.
I tried the TV station years ago and they have no record of that video. I'm not really sure which Huntsville station it was and don't even know if it's still in business. Thanks.
Forgot to add that I also helped remove the old railroad bridge and was seen on a Huntsville TV station explaining what the delay was. Wish that I knew how to find a copy of that video. That's actually why I was here in the first place, hoping that someone may have posted it.

I actually grew up in Florence, but I had to move two years ago.
I haven't seen these fireworks since 2006.

Fifteen years ago I was the captain of the towboat Brittany-Anne and pushed the barge used to launch the fireworks here.
