This video reminds me of how good FF7 is but it also reminds me of how it has aged. I felt that some of the attack animations took too long and that the cutscene after the battle was lengthy. I don't want to have to wait until everyone WALKS out of the room in an orderly fashion before something else happens. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing this. I don't think I ever saw this cutscene myself.

HOWEVER, Yoshinori Kitase, Square-Enix's director for pretty much all things Final Fantasy, said that it would take up to three or four years to complete, which would put off Final Fantasy XV for up to six years or so to recreate VII, and that they weren't willing to postpone continuing the series just to remake the most popular Final Fantasy game in America (it isn't the most popular in Japan).

Yes but you cnow..Yuffies and Vincent are haracters that are secret them selfs. You dont need them to finish the game they are extra haracters so i gues they were secret when the game was new ; p

Yuffie's a secret character, whereas Vincent is optional. (DEPENDING) Because while Yuffie has virtually nothing to do with the story beyond comic relief and being a pain, Vincent was indirectly responsible for letting his "Worst enemy" bang out a quick one with his "Would've-been" girlfriend, culminating into the Oedipus-psycho. I'll let you fill in the blanks.

Vincent would have solid incentive to actually join Cloud.

I dont know who you were talking to but Vincent is in the locked door in the shinra mansion basement. You need to open the safe with i think "right 36,left 10,right 59,right 97" i cant remember clearly.Then kill the boss,take the odin materia and basement key. But i bet you've figured all this out in the week that you posted the comment.

No, he's saying he is a boss that is not part of the main storyline. You have to LOOK for him to find him, therefore he is a "Secret" boss.  Ruby and Emerald are "Secret" Bosses as well.

yeah, it is more or less a battle of wits, a test of worthiness to see if yuffie has surpassed her father. its rather tenuous on the story itself but its a nice little thing to do on the side if you want a little change from the main story.

It's hard to explain. Early after you leave midgar she ambushes the party. Than you have to follow a very difficult to discern pattern to get her to join your party and not jack your gil and take off. Don't touch the save point that shows up it's a trap.

It's not so much as YUFFIE that's killing him, it's the materia that Yuffie's equipped with. You could do this with Cait Sith equipped the same way

Then again, Yuffie's limit did most of the work, but it's fairly easy to kill this boss with a Gravity spell, Cure2, Magic Hammers, and just plain meleeing him.

You're probably right. This was recorded using a PS3 and there seem to be a few audio glitches here and there, like whenever a Limit Break is used. I don't know why it's like that but I hope that it's fixed in the PSN release.

Not like it's a big deal anyway as nothing is ever radically altered.

true its not a big deal but im glad you noticed because it bugged me all the time, my 97' ps1 version used to miss out the sounds too thats why i can tell but my disc was scratched and hardly playable freezing in between battles..

so yea its probably not your ps3 maybe the disc if youve had it for a long time.

When i beat him it really was a close battle. I think i had Yuffie's Limit Break on like... level two, the only reason she managed to survive is because i pooled all my strong materia into her equips.

Had a blast taking on Godo, almost died twice ^^
