Thank you for posting this Video, it documents a women lead who was edgy, provocative, intelligent, sexually sensuous and sexually confrontational, like many of late 70s early 80s independent bands with women leads forging new sounds and looks influencing millions of people all over the world, unfortunately now women leads have turned into prostitution dolls to get attention and the cloning of sounds and looks of the past, never breaking out and going against the monotony of the 21 century.
The musics really good - vocals ok - I heard this music with a soul singer going over the top back in the early 80's, but didn't know who it was - I think they used to body pop to it.
I was surprised to see even a song by Hard Corps on YouTube, let alone a cool video clip. Kind of a mix of Kraftwerk, Front 242 and Moskwa TV but with fierce female vocals
Wow talk about your FLASHBACKS! Do remember Hard Corps opening for Dépêche Mode at London's Wembley Arena on the MUSIC FOR THE MASSES Tour in January 1988...recall the lead singer (Regine Fetet) wearing a leather-like dress with the back cut out...she had a stunner of a bum. Wondered what happened to them, & never could find a copy of their record release...hope their compilation gets released have wanted a chance to give this band a 2nd listen.
I too was at that gig bauhausZZZZZ - drunk muppets gave Hard Corps a hard time which they ignored. They were forging something new and different(NO GUITARS? OH MY GAWD!)and it frightened the muppets. I saw them again a few years later at Wembley supporting Depeche and they were awesome. Different, hard, melodic, raw. I am so glad I delved deeper into this band. BTW the gig was 1985(a year out!)and the band are English, the singer French. So they never left these hallowed shores little Englander!

I'm afraid I was small part responsible for their demise. They were truly appalling. I remember them supporting The Cure at Shepton Mallet, Somerset in 1986 .... and they were so crap live, there was a near riot in minutes, with chairs, ceiling tiles raining at them to get off stage.....
They disappeared never to return to these hallowed shores.
As soon as I hear this it invokes impressions of someone robot dancing which is what they used to do to this electro beat.

Ummm? They didn't "ignore". They trounced off on the second bleep of the 2nd "song" - and you were at the gig?!!
The "drunk muppets", or crowd who paid good money to see entertainment took offence at the fact there was no song, no lyric, no opinion and no talent.
