@innersweetness Taylor got together with Massimo and placed a hit on Brooke. The man was suppose to either seduce Brooke and keep her in Paris or kill her. So Massimo sent a fake letter that Brooke's father was dying. Brooke went to Paris to meet her dad at the eifle tower and came i contact with the hitman/or possible lover he could become to her. In other words similar to when Stephanie told Andy the rapist where to find the ke and he confronted Brooke and tried to rape her. Ridge was upset.

Massimo gave Stephen money to tell Brooke he was dying so Brooke would go to Paris. And Taylor didn't tell Ridge about this.
