You only talk about Hydrogen, but that would suggest you are running DC and only taking the gas from one plate ? Most of the units seem to take HHO / Browns Gas, ie and take the gas off both plates. I have the impression that the Mayers unit ran a ramped AC which would generate a blended HHO.
@an65001 hahaha probably not, as you see some people think we are nuts using this kinda stuff, its my car and im just experimenting, im not promoting it either......
There is a lot that needs to go into one of these kits. You need a decent pump that has enough pressure to turn the water into a mist form, Next you need a good jet to allow for a even mist, and i would strongly recommend a filter of some type. Water injection is great for turbo guys since it drops EGTs and has some other benefits as well.
While you're totally right about a water/ meth injection kit dropping EGT's and helping people push their turbos a little more, this isn't what he's doing. He is running Hydrogen gas as an additive with his fuel, and using it to increase the total burn of the fuel, thus getting better efficiency, power, and mileage (or so he should be ;) )
I made a hydroxide generator for my old worn out chevy p/u,it made a world of difference,I totally stand behind a hydroxide generator, the next system I make will have 3-12volt batteries to power the system and solar collectors on top of my truck to keep the bats. charged,3 batteries would make HO for several hours not to mention it would be nice to have a power supply for other things.Tks for your video post.
The thing is you would need like triple what you got there to even get any advantage. just using 1 HHO Cell only makes very very small amounts of hydrogen. such small amounts it wouldn't really make a difference.
been looking into this...could you tell me where to get the design etc and schematics...There are lots online I know but not really for the non-technical minded like me..I also have a turbo diesel and would love to do this, especially now..
@trevca1 well just search hho on google then just browse the articles there which tickles your fancy, i just downloaded mine from pirate bay 3 years ago......
@trevca1 I have a vw tdi 2002 and 2006 and make my own fuel Biodiesel but I purchased a kit instead of making one due to time constraints. I should add that both my cars are chipped for far greater performance than stock and the HHO kit or the hydrogen makes a HUGE improvement in performance; i estimate aprox 20% more, reduced a clatter a great deal and i dont even have a muffler (barely hear any noise at all at idle). I have not done enough mileage to test that but send me msg for more info
You should have kept some fuel receipts; full up and reset the trip counter then when you have run the tank near empty, refill and that amount of litres you put in can be converted to gallons to get your MPG!
I have been keeping my fuel receipts for over 6 months now when I had a Ford Fiesta Mk4 1.25petrol, now I have a 2004 Ford C-MAX 1.6DCI diesel which is alot better on fuel.
I am trying to find where to install my water filter HHO cell under the bonnet, may have to build a dry cell...
Cool start. Some build advice- You need a bubbler or when that goes boom you'll have caustic solution all over your engine. 2 Go for a series cell, much better efficiency.3 You need a pulse width modulator to pulse the dc current.
Nice job... a little dangerous without any flashback prevention.
Check my Channel Ppl don't seem to understand. Go to a garage and ask them to put some sensors in your exhaust system. It burns upto 99% clean. That means 40% cleaner then if you would just burn the diesel/petrol/propane. So a well made(homemade) system or a good bought one will reduce your fuel consumption by 20 and up to 70%.
This does work, I have had the system in my 06 dodge 2500 for more then a year. I get 21-23 mpg and have a lot more power. My brother has it on his 96 Honda Accord and is getting 7-10 more mpg.
ooo another smartass!!! first of all i made it myself just by browsing some forums on the net, and i spent a bit of money on some cheap ass materials on the department stores. may i ask who are these sales/marketing people?
A 2 litre engine sucks through 66.6 litres of air per second at 2000rpm.In 1 minute 1 of these HHO generators is lucky to produce 10cc's of HHO. In I minute of 2000 rpm the car will suck in 2000ccX2000rpm=40,000 litres in 1 minute. Do u really think sticking 10 cc's of HHO in 40,000 litres of air is really gonna make any difference? I had 3 HHO generators on my car + they do absolutley nothing to the running of the vehicle, MPG etc. I wasted my time and energy too. Try propane. That does work.
@shigotoninja@shigotoninja I went to an alternative fuel meet at Santa Pod. I saw a few diesel that used propane. The results were astonishing. I run my car on waste veg oil. I am not bothered about increased perfomance but more about saving money. My fuel costs are 10% of what it costs at the pumps. If you have fitted this HHO system to save cash, then think seriously about the waste veg oil option. Cheers
@shigotoninja fuel filter change every 100 miles for the 1st 300 miles. Veg oil cleans the crap out of the tank. Then every 3 months or so or every 3000 miles. If the oil is filtered dewatered WVO then it tends to thicken around 2 degrees C. New oil around -1 degrees C. Petrol thins oil better than diesel. In winter I add 10% petrol to my WVO. It works fine.
@DutchUnited71 Please show me your system running on your vehicle. Feed the HHO pipe that would normally go into the air intake into a bottle of water to show the HHO displacing 3 litres a minute. Your claims are somewhat extravagant and need to be proved by more than showing your own video and that of someone else. Your video in no way shows anything like 3 litres of HHO being produced. The 1st 49 seconds of your video indicate your set up produces less than 20ccs a minute.
As soon as I get a flowmeter. I will set it up and film it with flowmeter bottles in buckets are to amature. However As you see I don't claim That particular setup to produce 3 liters. "Liters output unknown so far....." However in that setup it only uses 4Amps at 15V. I do doubt that you can say something like 20CC very much. Bubbler has an aquarium bubbles tube in there. Bubbles are very small... Like soda bubbles.
@DutchUnited71 This comment u have made completely contradicts your ..."HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH My Cell produces over 3 liters per minute on idle. If we rev it up it goes to 5 Liters per minute Check my Channel" So what r u saying? You have a unit that produces 3 litres a minute but only filmed the 1 that produces the same amount as a mouse's fart? It's not even on the car. I doubt very much that we will see a video of your 3 litres a minute cell on your car.
Beware the connection you've made. Have you put a security check valve? and I see you've not amended your smoke sensor. So can you eat up more diesel than before
Hi again. I have had gains finally, but not with gas/HHO. I just add watervapour to the engine with my simple humidifier. Look at my video how I did it. I have also have gains with a 2 plate cell, that got really hot, and made watervapour. But it get so quickley full of "gunk" so I can't use it anymore. But that cell got me into watervapour :-) It might be the solution for turbodiesels!
Thanks! Just trying to think outside the box :-) I gained at least 10-15% in mileage! And I can put higher gear in in lower rpm, so you really can cruise at low rpm and save fuel. And the engine have better torque :-) I add approximately 20% water to the fuel, it seems enough.
yes, it is a complete scam, it doesn't work. The extra power required put increased load on the engine which increases fuel consumption and slows the vehicle down. It has NO effect whatsoever. No one has explained how to reduce fuelling via the ECU when hydrogen is used - because they can't!
MORE fuel is used. God knows people can't understand the basics of why hydrogen does not work when forced into the air intake. Waste of time & waste of money.
this aint water 4 gas smarty pants i just stole the design. and this is just an experiment for gods sake. scam scam blah blah blah.... this shit has been patented a long time ago.
bro u could put a crimp in the fuel line to slow the fueing down and i dissagree and agree with you because it takes 1kw of power to make kw of hydrogen so it is a waste but ur statment re: the fueling is incorect
Forget Faradays LAW. It has been outdated..... This is different then nomal H2..... This is HHO..... 4 Amps 15 V produce about 3 to 4 liters of this mix Which costs about 1 HP from your Dynamo which would otherwise be either waisted or charge your battery
yes it does, so do gasoline and oil when burned thats why all gas and diesel engines screw up after a long time. i just dont know about this hho stuff can screw your engine more quickly coz this stuff came out in the open just recently. -this is what most of the experimenting guys say in the net.
i noticed a bit about 1-3 liters average per week, try removing it for a while and test if you could see any difference in power and performance. i use 3 cells now not much in mileage gains but my engine gives off a bit more torque at about 1200 rpms. good luck
I have tried with my 1,9 liter tdi Passat -95 for almost a year, with no results yet. I have now made a cell that makes 0,6-0,7l/min cold in 8 amps and maf-enhancer, but Im not sure if I get any gain with that either.
Where's your Bubbler?... check out my installations on a Lancer and a Toyota Revo Diesel. No Flashback Arrestor... at least put a bubbler - it the bets safety device you can have. Besides, you don't want water per se getting in your chambers.
maybe later with a good design, im still testing out all sorts of designs and still figuring out if this coil design will pump enough H for my engine without further modifications. so far satisfactory and it gets really hot after an hour of driving......

would you please be smart enough to estimate the amount of H2 you generate, the power it costs, and what you get if you burn it?
Yes, you got it, the amount makes no difference, and you waste a minimal power.
