  • But if HM plays no part in politics, how can criticising HM undermine "national security"? Is Thailand's "security" dependent on the king's good reputation? Doesn't that suggest that the king has SOME role to play? If so, shouldn't he be open to "assessment" like everyone else who holds public office and receives tax-payers money?

    Is my question offensive? I don't mean to offend, I just want to understand.
