I myself have a pair of black Sambas. For anyone sceptical of buying this shoe, take it from me, i wear an 11.5 shoe as well. and for the first few hours they feel stiff, but after a couple hours of breaking in, they feel great. and they last a long time from what i've heard.

yes, you can get Sambas in several places, however, the ones with the big trefoil tongue were last released in 1994 for the world cup. These were the 1980s model of Sambas.

no the sambas in the video are different. Look at the huge adidas symbol on the tongue. look at pics of the samba classic they have a very small adidas logo written out  on the tongue. So my question is what type of samba are in this video cause the huge adidas on the tongue is sick

i believe those are "Samba Classics" rather than "Samba Originals". the Classics like these have a longer tongue and don't have the adidas logo on the white part of the heel

you have to break them in!!! at first they seem like crap for a week or so. for me, they actually make my feet ache really badly. but after you break them in, they are the best shoes in the world! they are the longest lasting shoes i've ever had, and the most comfortable.

Two kids in my elementary school wore only sambas. It took me till high school to finally get a pair.

I won't stop wearing sambas. They fit the shape of my feet perfectly. I can wear them loose, and run and slide on them sideways and they will never roll over because of their design. My superstar 2's are heavy, hurt my toes (half size up my foot slides around), and they roll over all the time.

well, good luck trying to find the trefoil tongue sambas... they were made in the 1980's...... very hard to find now! i think they re-made them in 1992 for the world cup.

It's worth doubling the price to have a pair of sambas with that tongue. It looks like your friend's sambas actually say "SAMBA CLASSIC" on the side instead of just "SAMBA".

sup. ya, the 'adidas samba super' are making their way finally to the US. they are mostly sold in europe, so u should be able to get a pair here. those do have the big trefoil on the tongue. i actually just got a pair myself. as far as the ones on this video, yes, they do say 'samba classic' instead of just sambas on the side. so, ya, post of a vid of your sambas man!
