You can basically pause the game without it recognizing/registering as a pause... Just hit the guide/PS button...The game will stop, but no pause screen will pop up. :) Win for me!

that blows that has happened to me about 3 times so far, once i did it on drums expert and i could play all the songs unlocked but i didnt have shoulder to the plow unlocked, so i failed. i tried again on vocals and failed on painkiller, and i failed on visions on guitar XD so im doing it for the last time now on vocals medium
