@mingtongzhi Oh I believe you, the PC could do a higher resolution and thus also better texture smoothing. It is the sheer volume and range of games that sets the Saturn and PSX generation apart from PC games at the time. This video is not about which was better PC or Consoles as both have there merits do's and don'ts - I enjoy(ed) both tremendously but my preference changes over time..

I remember playing tribes and Everquest with the voodoo 1 and I think the graphics of that was better than ps1

This looks like a fun little game! It's always good to see your own country in a game. Too bad the track didn't really look like Holland.

Also it was funny to see your wife walking in frame ... ehr I mean the Sega Saturn logo :-D.

Looks a lot like the playstation version,if I remember correctly! something to think about, the saturn is a cross between a ps1 and a MD! Makes it sound way cool!

PS, the sound has improved 100% compared to your older video's! ;)

If you check really old console games on YT, there pretty much always arcade/action based. You check the earliest computer games and they are generally never arcade/action games! This is why I have always been a computer rather than console gamer! :)

I like these old racers that just slap you to the drivers seat and off you go. No mucking around with gazillion settings. And I share your grief with the loud fans on the modern consoles.

I have only seen this on Playstation (and if it was not this one, than a rather simulair karting game), but due to the low camera, and the quick respnse of those game, i also had trouble actually winning some races. In 2 player mode they are fun tough, as both players have the same problems. So there's still some fun to be had with these games.

I love the video set up you have Mark,the quality is really good.What are you using to capture the gameplay and edit the video?

The commentry was really entertaining,and this game looks pretty awesome although the later track design seemed rather confussing lol.I have to wonder how this would play with the excellent official Sega Saturn steering wheel :)
