Even though the band members were slightly different I still always thought of Arcadia as Duran Duran. It's like when Bowie was in Tin Machine I still thought of him simply as Bowie. I recall Richard Bulter leaving the Psychedelic Furs to form Love Spit Love but I still thought of him has the Furs.

I'm really enjoying this song & video on the eve of Election Day 2008 in the USA!! Go'Obama!! The band looks like they had so much fun making this video, esp. at 6:38. I was amazed at how completely coherent Simon was in KC in '05 b4 concert after I met them, after he had been swigging from a bottle. The female backup singer was amazing!! I still love this band years later.

A great album indeed. Arcadia was the best thing aside fom Duran Duran I plan on talking to the guys to do a new Arcadia album. ACE-ARCADIA is my playstation 3 name and I have music on the way under a different name I want name until copyright fringement is taken care of first.

What are you basing this theory on? I heard Simon say in an interview that it really doesn't have one particular meaning. He purposely left it open to interpretation.
