  • Thank you, I have been raw for only one week, and even easy to make meals like this are new to me.... I went out and got both types of wraps and it was delicious!

  • lol i would have never eaten that shit when i was a kid but now its the only thing that makes me glow. ive been a fan of lettuce raps lately, but i found the butter still clogs me up. that seaweed wrap looks dank where do you get that? health food stores? get those kids some blue green algae if they can handle seaweed.

  • Hello Lori,

Thanks for being here. You are blessed to have such beautiful children. I'm just curious as to how old they are? Are they vegan? If they are, how long have they been vegan?

Thanks again; and thanks for seeking to nourish your children in the best way that you know.

  • Alex is 13, Meg is 11. Vegan since 2007, but they do eat non vegan stuff at friends parties and things like that. However, in the home we keep it clean.

  • How in the world do you get your kids to eat raw and veggies? Write a book on it! It would help a lot of people.

  • Thanks. It has taken time and practice! I'll post a video on it soon!

  • They're called Nori sheets x

  • That is very nice! I like the idea of children preparing their vegetable meals and eating them with pleasure (in front of us). :-) Good for you and them!

  • What kind of lettuce was that>? Iceberg?

  • No on the iceberg. I used romaine in the video, however buttter lettuce works well!

  • They are so cute.

  • Oh...sorry...hi, Alex, the dude :-)

  • (cont.) let it set awhile in the fridge of somesomethng... seeweed wraps but not like that." A lot of 2020 hindsight. No one likes to be should on...most especially when given no guideance. It's a self-esteem buster if it happens either too much or during key moments, like when watched a thousand times.

  • I get that. It was a semi spontaneous thing to throw up the camera. I was holding it so I couldn't be right next to him to help him out. So to triedto keep a vid short and share what others might do differently so they don't think this is how it should be. Who knew rather than watching the recipe idea I would be criticized for my communication skills.

  • You're right. You need to give instructions first. You are too critical of the boy...first, he has no name. "You should of smeared the avocado down first, something moist but sure you can do it that way hahahah, was it good like that all papery, normally it's better if you (cont.)

  • I listen to everything, since communications is my profession. The wraps are nice.

  • Your children are beautiful....GOD bless them, and you sound like a really good Mom.

  • I'm hungry.

  • Your kids are so cute and seem so helpful, that's really cool.

  • I love that you have your kids eating raw. I hope to do that when I have children.

  • I really admire how you raise your children with such a healthy lifestyle. I am trying to go raw slowly but find it hard to switch my kids to raw. They are vegetarian and to make them go raw would be extremely difficult. My 17 year old seems open to it but I also have a 12 year old who isn't keen on it and also a 6 year old. Any suggestions?

  • I just started by not buying anything that was junk & I allowed them to pick any fruit or veggie they liked. I make them empowered by letting them choose anything "healthy" within certain guldelines. It has taken me years to get to this point. They still eat cake at birthday parties (and get sick from it too), but I let them be kids. I like that they FEEL the difference and choose better choices. Go raw one meal at a time.

  • Easiest is breakfast. Start everyday raw, then gradualy do lunches raw, last dinner. Or squeeze in something raw w/ every meal.

You'll find what works. Getting them excited and understanding how their bodies work is what helped me.

  • Thank you so much for the great tips!

  • yummy! and sooo simple. Thanks for constantly inspiring me to act. Love your vids!!!

  • Love your videos! Your kids are the cutest!

You seem like such a great mom :)

  • It's so great that you encourage your kids to be creative and active with food; famous raw chefs of tomorrow! = )
