u can get russian NVGs that use 2 AA batteries on ebay for 300$. my bro got them and they work wayyyy better than the COD ones and they are like 1/4 the size too. if you have seen ghostbusters, those are the NVGs.

@roydied15 it would have been nice if you actually thought out your reply. 1. there is a point where there will not be enough light reaching your eyes for your brain to be able to process an image. but night vision goggles no matter what the quality will help pick up a wider range of lights and magnify them. so you couldnt possibly see any better on your own. as for the shooting you cant exactly see iorn sights in the dark anyway. btw ur mom was the tool last night. i used her pretty hard

@jquindel i can tell ya never wore real nvg's then. all light amp devices mess with depth perception, but my rusky goggles make for clear shooting at night, except for the recovery from muzzle flash. and by the way, using "your mom" as a form of verbal attack was never useful. not even when you thought it was funny in 6th grade.

Greetings from Spain,Actually I used those COD night vision goggles in an airsoft night battle and they were really useful to me and my team,we were in charge of surveilling 3 sectors of the camp and we could see the enemy aproach.Of course not from a large distance away,but we could reach in time to make them retreat.

not really i use these in airsoft, the light if very faint, and they only see it if they are specifically looking for it or if they are close range, normally if u trying to creep up on someone this is fine. but if ur are trying to run up on someone they will see this little light moving around sparacticaly, lol not good. just move slow and its fine.@kazarkas1993

the night vision googles work perfectly for airsoft but only if you are camping or ambusing becauses like he said your depth perception is totally thrown off. I could't walk 4 feet without stumbaling

these arent real night vision goggles by the way, these work bye using infrared LEDs that are only captured bye cameras. The thing at the end of the goggles is a camera, and inside is a small LCD that is connected to the camera. Real night vision goggles use image enhancement , which works by amplifying light. Another type of night vision is thermal imaging, but that's completely different.

ive worn and held these before, theyre alot lighter in weight than they appear, im not sure how they would hold up if they were hit by a 360+ fps bb, personally i think they wouldnt last in airsoft battle if hit enough, theyre just cool to have as a display in your room in my opinion.
