sorry to tell all you lol but if this truck is a 1992 with a diesel its a 6.2L non turbo diesel.

Wrong! 1992 was the first year of the 6.5 turbo diesel. 92-93 were mechanical pumps and in 94' they switched to electronic pumps.

If it was a 6.2 non turbo then how the truck had a turbo mounted on the passenger side engine???

The 6.5L may very well be the best sounding light duty diesel ever.

Its a 6.5. The 6.2 didnt get that type of turbo setup on it. In fact very few 6.2s got turbos at all. I am shocked to see the tach doesnt go red until 4500 rpm tho.

6.5 wasn't available until 93, at least i don't think, though GM did offer a factory option to have a banks turbo installed on the 6.2 which bumped power from 160hp to 190hp
