@pacoinkc Ak's are good weapons, very good and reliable but after over 20 years in arid conditions like the middle east many of them would not be operating. Not to maximum capacity anyway, they got to be getting a lot of their weapons from somewhere...but where...I think Pakistan seeing as how we traced IED parts to factories in Pakistan and that's where we found Bin Laden hiding. However, I don't doubt that some of these older Taliban were trained by our CIA to fight the Russians.
