  • I want.

  • That is very nice. Music gave me a behind the eyeballs headache though...

  • fake one

  • Respond to this video... I never have or never will buy a fake. If I can't afford it...then I won't buy it.

  • @AlisonAndLyn Nope...not fake...but thanx for looking.

  • Hello I have one off these watch and my is with the left small face saying mon-Sunday instead of it saying 12-3-9 so what model is mine please help

  • LOL

  • @cfbmd hey did you need to wait alot for buying this modell? i heard it takes years even in us to ordera watch like this and the value never sinks. how much did you give for this in us from the shop?

  • Beautiful piece, Please check out my video on my Rolex Pre-Daytona 6234.

  • I guess we know how he got the watch =)

  • lose the music

  • @Doggieman1111

    What...?

Come one, everyone likes Jane's Addiction.....well maybe not everyone.

  • Gorgeous!!!!

  • @jfdomega

    Thank you....

  • which model of daytona?

  • @TheRoyalBorn This is a Stainless Steel Rolex Daytona early "V" series with the old clasp style.

  • @cfbmd yeah but it doesnt beat the model datejust 2 116333 with romanian marks and yellow gold around the steal bracelet. its the same price, When you can have gold or diamionds on the watch why choose only steel?

  • @TheRoyalBorn I just like the Daytona.

Gold and Diamonds....just not my style.

  • @cfbmd but you like this daytona cause the looks right? Cause here a rolex yaschmaster 16622 with platina which is more expensiever than gold and white gold as dial marks has the same price as this one platina and white gold! and cheaper price a rolex datejust 2 116333 is even cheaper and they both look very good, ppl notice them alot. Im just curious why you settle with only steel on a rolex expensive model? cause if you have diamonds and gold on your watch it make it more beautiful

  • @TheRoyalBorn

Just like the look of the Daytona. Second choice would be GMT IIC or the new Ceramic Sub.

  • @cfbmd mm oki the looks, its oki i thought they sell those with jewelery more expensive this is the cheapest daytona in one homepage i found about watches, other daytonas are alot more expensiver. Is this one more difficult made than a submariner. I never had rolex before im planning to buy my first but i wanna buy one for atleast 10 years. a rolex with full yellow gold around the bracelet is alot of money. like the sopranos his watch is very nice. but i think its a presidential rolex.

  • Are you supposed to use the seconds hand on this watch, or is it just for timing.

  • no offence to you personally, looks good on you....but it would be nice to see some people with smaller wrists wearing these watches for a change so people like me could get a good idea in the comfort of their home instead of running all the way down to a dealer lol

  • Superb watch.

  • That clasp is from an "M" series rather than the "V" series.

  • @BUSQU3TS

The clasp on the Rolex Daytona changed early in the "V" series. My Rolex is an early "V" series with the old clasp which I personally like better.

  • @cfbmd Thanks for clarifying.

  • @BUSQU3TS

    :-)

Love the watch and don't regret the purchase. However, I would be lying if I didn't tell you I sometimes feel guilty due to the cost....But then again we only live once.

  • @cfbmd I know what you mean. I myself got a "V" series a few months ago. I'll upload my video soon if you're interested :)

  • @BUSQU3TS

Yes, link the video when you have time.

  • ese rolex es falso es replica. la aguja salta en su recorrido. en el rolex original la aguja se mueve continuamente sin dar saltos ..... dato.

  • @juanixxarg

I guarantee it is not false my friend. Bought from an authorized AD in 2008.

The seconds can be read in the lower of the three timing circles...and the needle does move smooth. The seconds hand using the stopwatch function moves smoothly but not as "smooth" as the older Rolex Daytona with the Zenith movement. The reason is due to the change in the movements beat per hour ratio. The old Daytona: 36,000Bph (5Htz), the new 4130 Daytona movement beats at 28,800Bph (4Htz).

  • @cfbmd ha spoils of owning a rolex, (70% of the population think its fake) thats why i bought myself a patek and now i never have to deal with people asking if its real or not. Thanks for sharing hope you dont get bugged as much as i did.

  • @siber14

I know...it's annoying... I would love to have a Patek.....a Patek Philippe Grand Complications Perpetual Calendar Split-Second Chronograph. However at $240,000.....it's going to be a long time from now....LOL

  • I got lucky not to long ago and scored a used example for $6000 (Circa 2003). Amazing watch worth every penny IMHO.

  • I own this watch, not worth it.....and 1100 to service??.....save your money and buy a Seiko instead.

  • @greekpapi

I agree that it is a little high to pay 1K+ every 7-8years to service this watch....but then again is a mechanical marvel. If you would rather have a Seiko...then buy a Seiko. Seiko makes some great watches like the Grand Seiko series or the Seiko 007, 009 dive watches (however it's no Rolex).

  • @cfbmd I already own 10 Seiko's. you get a lot of watch for little money.....but your right, its not a Rolex.

  • @greekpapi i have a 150 dollar sieko and a 10000 rolex black face daytona, lol why would you even compare...

  • my wife is now wearing this watch and insists that it's a woman's watch...oh well, there goes my Daytona...

  • @dbrinch

The Daytona looks good on everyone....;-)

  • @dbrinch she must be a big lady then.

  • @LawrenceLugar1

That may be your opinion. I like them both. However, since I am in a white coat all day, the white one is better for me. I will soon get the black one then, a GMT IIc, then the new Sub.

    Cheers.....Dr.B

  • @cfbmd Hello! I am also a Doctor! I got a GTM Master II for my grad gift. I think it is still a public video. Everyone that views Rolex videos says it is fake...However, your watch is obviously not fake. It is very hard to make a replica of a Daytona. However, my GMT II is the most replicated, and now, I feel fake. However, it is for ME, not for anyone else. Go check out the vid! I love your watch.

  • @DangerD205

Hey....I almost bought the GMT IIC. Great watch......who cares if there are plenty of replicas....we buy these watches for us, not them. My next one most likely will be the new Rolex Sub-C or the New DeepSea.

  • Ok I have a winner Daytona 24 1992 Oyster perpetual Rolex, I need to know if its a fake, could anyone help me?

  • and not to miss out on the fun. I have a datejust 116234 haha

  • @PerfectReplicasUK

    Sorry buddy.....only real ones here!

  • ive the same

  • skip the line if you know the right people.

  • My name was just called after a two year waiting list for this beauty... I got one.....it was about time.....Boy, it is beautiful

  • nice watch i just buy a GMT-master II today... and wow is awesome..by the way whats the song name?

  • Next one will be the SS Black face Daytona or the GMT IIc.......Difficult decision. The great thing is that they hold their value. Thank you guys for the comments. You guys should check out The Rolex Forum on line....a plethora of information on Rolex, how to spot a fake, etc...etc....

    Dr.B

  • I like this model, the white gold model, and the everose black face

  • @Mr000Hyde

The white gold model is a nice watch but a unworn mint condition Stainless Steel version of this Cosmograph is the Holy Grail of watches.

It currently retails for just over £5000 but there is a 6 year waiting list to get one.

Any good watch dealer depending on condition will pay you double that amount to get hold of an unworn example.

Gold versions are quite common but a steel version is a rare and highly desirable watch.

  • stunning watch. I have the black face and love it!
