  • @ikyokyo Hindi right?

  • Yeah, it was stupid, but it was on TV so we watched it.

  • i find the concept of this show really creepy.

  • I used to watch this show in 99'....

And i used to love it

    Didn't know it was a 80's show...

  • @TheRichat I agree...I loved this show ( I know, I know...it was stupid as hell, but...) I found it quite entertaining for the most part... Still shocked it was from the 80s...

  • does anyone know where to find the later version? the one that sounded like El Debarge's "Who's Johnny"?

  • Am I the only one who wonders if that guy also gave her genitals :)

  • @esgnrjnjgu LOLLLLL

  • whats weird is that this guy can build a lifelike robot and he chooses to make a little girl slave.......

  • @chillyrooster whats even more weird the girl grows up in the show.

  • I was born in 1999... I wish I was around in these times..

  • @Angelface99nye 1998, I win.

  • Omg I completely forgot this creepy show... I think we had this as Summer viewing. What an amazingly crappy show this was. When you think of tv parodies of he eighties you forget that sh*t like this actually existed!

  • I loved the Eighties as much as the next guy but I am not going to defend every show that came out during that decade! This show has it's fans but it wasn't funny or clever in the least.

  • i was thinking of this show, I love it .... I just could not remember the name... Thank you 2 broke girls.... super awesome show

  • 2 broke girls

  • @phant0mthiefkid lololol, me 2

  • sure it was cheesy... what show in the 80s wasn't?

  • Attention children of the 80's: Remember when life was good?

  • I am a stabbing robot

  • witch episode does she malfunction and starts strangling Jerry saying ''System overwrite, crush, kill destroy.''

  • She'd kick Punky Brewster's ass.

  • I loved this show as a kid :)

  • she's fantastic... made of plastic... a microchip here and there...

  • I hated this show for another reason other than it was a bad show. You see, I was born in 1969, so I grew up in the 1970s watching syndicated reruns of all sorts of real classic, CLASSIC tv shows. But by the mid 1980s cable tv was growing in my area. As a result was scooping up the broadcasting rights to those wonderful classic tv shows, removing them from the free airwaves & got replaced with lousy programs like this one. I couldnt afford cable at the time. So I had to put up with it.

  • @ghostrepublic

It's better than most of the bullshit tv out there today.

  • @jmjfanss Yeah, I have to agree with that. As bad as this show is, in my opinion, its far better than most shows put out today.

  • @ghostrepublic

Most shows put out today, ever since the real world came on in 1992 have been shit except for a few good ones.

  • @ghostrepublic That's funny I remember "classic" TV if you mean stuff from the 1950s and 60s being broadcast on syndicated networks regularly right up till the early 1990s, sometimes even the mid 90s, though by the mid 90s it was rare but you could still find it here and there. I was born in 1975 and I grew up with this show, I remember watching it brand new in it's first run like when I was 9 or 10. Granted anyone born in the 90s would likely consider anything from the 80s "classic".

  • Satan created this show

  • I liked this show

  • This would make a good horror film.

  • This was one of the most endearing childhood shows ever made!!!! I was an 80's kid and I will cherish the memories forever!!!

  • why do people call this a bad show? what's wrong with it? Atleast it's better than all that bullshit we watch these days.

  • That makes sense!

  • This show is so bad, it's good...

  • I can't bealieve people watched this crap.

  • this show lasted 4 SEASONS.

    and that's hilarious

  • I remember faking sick to stay home from church one Sunday to eat nachoes and have the TV all to my 9 year old self. I saw this show for the first time. God works in misterious ways.

  • It must have been a small wonder because the show didn't even last long lmao....

  • Vicky was created when we used to build stuff in America!

  • Robot voice fight- Vicki vs. JP (grammas boy)

  • ah the memories...watched this back when i was 5 or 6 haha

  • Ha ha... we always reference this show as the worst Television show in history. It never even had a regular time slot in my town. It only came on when baseball games were rained out or some other sporting event ended early.

  • OMG doesn't Vicky look like liitle Hermione..??

  • OMG! I remeber this show.

  • must see

  • Oh my god. My sister used to watch this all the time.

  • Worst show EVER! that is all.....

  • I couldn't remember the name of this! As a kid, I referred to it as "The Little Robot Girl."

  • This was one of the most dumbest shows ever. A cheesy blight on the 80s.

  • @duncan7599 u r an idiot

  • @MrAndroidGeek @ snob too

  • @duncan7599

    that entire decade was cheesy!!

  • The kitchen at 0:10 looks like the same kitchen from the golden girls

  • I remember this show!!! I use to watch it all the time!!!

  • So, what's this show about? The life and times of a robot girl?

  • :D where are shows like these?

  • @IBeliebSomeday They still exist...you know them as "moe anime."

  • @bancoran that doesn't count to me :/ tv sucks now and days, i feel bad for the younger ones they are growing up with jersey shore, teen mom, and god knows what else

  • @IBeliebSomeday well, anime's the only place you're going to find shows about cute girls in pinafore dresses (who may or may not be disguised gods or eldritch abominations, but hey, it's Japan ^_^). If they tried to make a show like that today, the producers would be strung up and labeled pedophiles. People are too suspicious nowadays.

  • i used to watch this as a lil kid. knowing that i'm pretty suprised i'm not even more messed up.

  • Although by today's standards, Vicki the Robot represent a hellish descent into the Uncanny Valley, without spectacular failures like her, hailbot technology wouldn't be where it is today. I'm sorry you were sexualized every day of your life to gratify the sick perversion of a rogue Department of Defense contractor. But your sacrifice will always be remembered. Hail Satan!

  • @ Johnnycashmore 95% of the world doesn't know who Ronald Reagan is, really? you sir are one stupid person. Just thank god you had the USA around otherwise you'd be speaking German right now, dumbass Brit.

  • DOES SMALL WONDER GIVE HAPPY ENDINGS?

  • its not my imagination there's a gun in my back

  • Have the mothers from Small Wonder, Charles in Charge and Mr Belvedere ever been seen in the same room together?

    Just wondering.

  • This was one weird program back in the day. But I was 6 so I didn't know better.

  • God, TV was bad in the 80s. The Reagan years-were we all out of our minds?

  • @DejectedPanda The what years? Oh....right your an American, and therefore assume everyone else in the world is too......

  • @JonnyCashmore Yeah, I'm an American, commenting on an American program, made during the Reagan administration, idiot. That's why I said we.

  • @DejectedPanda This site is an international site. 95 percent of the world have no fucking idea who Ronald Reagen is....you ignorant American piece of shit. Maybe you should wake up, and realize your "culture" (if you can call idiotic senseless capitalism culture) isn't everyone's culture. Educate your self you stupid Yank, and start keeping other peoples frame of reference in mind please.....

  • @JonnyCashmore That's about the stupidest comment I've ever come across. I shouldn't make a reference to American culture in a thread about an American TV show because someone who's not American won't get it. Epic stupidity. Thanks for proving that we "yanks" don't have a monopoly on that.

I'm guessing you're British. The NHS covers mental health - you should take advantage of it. I think you need an adjustment to your medications.

  • @JonnyCashmore ????? WTF? 95% of the world doesn't know who Ronald Reagan Is? Are you really that fucking stupid? He only was the president of the United States who helped bring an end to the USSR. I got news for you. 100% of EVERYONE who is 30 or older knows who he is, and I"m willing to bet it's a good +70% on everyone under 30. Everyone who has read a single paragraph on the cold war that is. Granted I don't know what shitty education you got so who knows.

  • @deepintexas I know what you mean and it saddens me when people under 30 don't know any of the references and pop culture that we grew up to... I mean I was born in 81 and I knew some of the references about my Parent's generation and that's because I picked up a book or two.. What is wrong with the youth today?? I mean they have google and all that high tech stuff, it's so sad really...

  • THUMBS DOWN to my friend Brooke W. for sending this to me!

    :D

  • I can't believe I actually remembered the theme song to this show, and I had forgotten the show ever existed.

  • Comment removed

  • @BibleThumperMan Thanks for clearing that up for me. What would I do without you clearing that up for me? I will say what I want and that is my god given right. Now dont you have anything better to do? ;-)

  • What idiot made this program

  • What idiot made this program

  • forgot this sh ow even existed until this morning, memories

  • Wow! I...vaguely remember this!

  • I used to wonder, who da hell has lunch on the front lawn of their office building???

  • I used to write for this show when I had a drug proplem.

  • Why r so many sluts watching this?

  • It would have bombed on network tv!

  • who the hell dislikes this?

  • @gingersnapskara The idiots !

  • One of my favorite shows!

  • i remember this shit!!! LOL give the rights to the japanese and see how they will modify this into a kick ass anime hour. : D

  • Ha I know...can't believe I remember this show.

  • After watching AMERICAN DAD pay an omage to this show, I had to show my gf this because she couldnt believe such a cheesy show existed. Ahh I miss the 80's.....sorta....kinda...mostly celts/lakers...most of the shows were shit

  • So glado to see it, I used to watch it on 94!!! I was ten years old on those days..

  • @roxteen '94 really that late ? This show was on from 1985 to 1989, so it surprises me that you were watching this in '94. This was not a 90's show; this was an 80's show; see the Gremlins T-shirt that Jamie wears ? You must have been watching it on a retro-TV-show themed channel because by '94, this show was outdated. I'm older than you and used to watch Small Wonder when it was actually "new" on TV from '85 to '89. I'm 31 yrs old now, ugh, feel like I'm 100

  • OMG, I knew I use to watch a show about a little robot girl..thanks!!

  • Now doesn't that bring back ur old memories? :)

  • So................I guess when the Small Wonder grows up, she becomes a Stepford Wife?

  • thumbs up if watching this again made u cry

  • I remember watching this show..so goofy

  • in japan they have one

  • I want a robot child

! It's sounds much simpler than giving birth.

  • welcome to hell everyone!!

  • I remember quite a few shows from the 80s but wow, this one doesn't sound familiar at ALL. So she was a robot? She looks kinda like a young Phoebe Kates (sp?).

  • @tekbarrier I'm not sure how old you are, but Small Wonder (at least by me) was on Sunday afternoons on an off-network channel. It wasn't on prime time TV, and it wasn't on for very long, but was quite popular with those around my age (I was born in 76). So it def. had a niche audience.

  • dam i was in love with Vicky when i was a kid

  • Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

  • @evildeaddrew Lol!!!

  • Wow! This was one of my faves, right along with Punky Brewster and Out of This World. Memories! *sigh*

  • I have to say i wasnt a fan of the show but loved the opening titles for the short scene of mom in her sexy blue jumpsuit, I was 14 at the time and would fantasise about bending mom over the kitchen table and ripping off that sexy blue jumpsuit

  • this show was hilarious... ever said she needed a new memory drive. no such thing. ram drive yes, but he really meant to say memory modules.

  • I remember that I wanted to beat up that Jamie kid when I was a kid.

  • @MegaVolcano he got reeeeal fat... no offence to the fatties, but seriously this guy... wow... also do you ever remember his dad always blaming him with that famous quote?

    uh... jamie...

  • Oh puke, pass the barf bag vicar!

  • @majikminx So.... the 80s make you sick???? The 80s gave me "Punky Power!!!"

  • @rchookie No, the 80's didn't make me sick - this programme did.

  • @majikminx I'll give you that; I've never seen "Small Wonder"

  • @rchookie Ahh I see - then you are a very lucky person ;)

  • @gopconservative78 No, it was never 1 of the worst shows that was ever made. You can say that about the reality shows.

  • when I was 12 I used to jerk off to the small wonder

    yes I have issues

  • you can tell the mom had an 80s bush on her vag under that jumpsuit

  • There was no 'wrong' in the 80s, there was only good, evil, and bad hairstyles.

  • this is wrong in so many levels....

  • i like this show when i was in 2nd grade but i remember it had the most annoying neighboor in sitcom historey and i forgetting fullhouse or family matters or ned flanders i like flanders i could not stand harriet lol
