@psbabyj as the original installation is not running you can replace corrupted files or entries, the same applies to virus as they will be dormant. An alternative to this would be a linux live CD but that takes longer to load and needs knowledge of linux
@rayok123 ive got windows 7 also hirens boot cd im wanting to back up my or clone my c drive any chance you could make some tutorials or even any with hirens as it has loads of programes on it thanks in advance
Where did you find the image for that? I am looking for a bootable windows xp or 2000 cd that I can juset boot up and use for system repairs... With a desktop.
No you can't as it doesn't support networking. If you want to do that you are better off using a Linux live CD (or better still a linux image that boots off a pen drive the "ubuntu netbook remix" is my favourite)
