There was probably another reason MJ couldn't perform at the Grammys last year, but it wasn't because he was dead, assuming that the Grammys are every year in January, and if that's the case, he would have still been 'alive' to do it. i think michael is alive, but i dont think he wanted to perform anymore, but his kids did and seeing as he had the production company i think that he is going to step back and produce his kids and he can do so without anyone knowing that he is alive because he just has to do it under mjprocuctions. And i dont know if he will ever come out and let his fans know that he is alive or not it would be nice, but i think that he just didnt want to be harrassed anymore because of his popularity.

Interesting take on the disguise theory...Don't know If I believe that Michael went Disguised as one of his nephews...However, more interesting are your points on Paris, and Princes speech. I though the same thing about Prince Slipping up on his part. What's also interesting, that you didn't touch on, is that during the actual performance, towards the end of earth song..Michael's part actually sounded live. It didn't sound like the vocal track from the album. I wish more people check that.
