The only differences are maybe 3 crashes that ended up being officially charted as double crashes, and the double kick stuff at the very end - I dropped the kick that would be played with the left foot, which seems reasonable to me, where as the official chart is just straight 8ths.

Have you ever actually played Rock Band? All songs are authored to be playable on one pedal, which means either A. charting only what the right foot plays (in most instances of fast double kick parts) or B. creatively reducing the kick patterns to make them playable with one foot but still maintain the feel of the song.

Yes, I realize lot of people who do GH/RB customs author the full kick parts, but I try to stay as "official" as possible.

No. That doesn't work, because if one pedal is held down when you try and press the other, it won't trigger. You need a Kickbox or some similar device to use two pedals with one RB drum set.

@gtrfreak182 1. There's a tool available on the ScoreHero forums somewhere that converts from .chart to .mid, but I did all of the .chart files a long time ago with FeedBack instead of Reaper. There's no chance any of them will transfer in Magma without doing some serious editing.

2. I just tried downloading the .mid file and had no problems.

I don't get it. When a track is being played in audition mode, characters play along with it. Even with autoplay. And all tracks are being played and the drummer isn't moving.

@RockBandTuber96 Not quite, you actually have to add drum and guitar animations manually. Drums are basically note for note (kick, snare, 3 toms, open/closed hat, 2 crashes, ride, LH/RH notes separate for all of those minus ride) and guitars and bass are hand positions along the neck by fret, with fingering and strumming determined by the expert chart. I didn't bother with any of that for this track.

Good chart, but not great. The octave chords were made single notes along with some other chords, and some of the drum was off. Overall, a lot better than most charts.

Exactly how long is the silence in the beginning? My MP3 starts the song RIGHT away after load with no delay and the notes are like 3 seconds apart, I used a stop watch to figure it out myself, but no luck, 3.42 seconds is close, but it's still noticeably off...

@PIKACHU49386 Try this... open up the .mid file in Reaper, throw in your mp3 on another track, move it around until the waveform from your mp3 lines up with the midi notes, figure out at what time your mp3 now starts, and add that much silence to the beginning.

Because it's only single bass, there are some differences between what is played with the right foot (in real life) and what's in the game, but that's really understandable.

If you're talking about the intro riff, they're definitely strumming on quarter notes and pulling off to the open D. There's no way they're hammering on every single one of those notes. In fact, go watch a live video... they strum every note and the open D notes are palm muted.

Hey man, I asked you a while ago about charting vocals, and just decided to get to it now, lol. You told me about adding + to the lyric to make a multi-syllable word that has multiple notes. I read the documents on creators.rockband and still don't understand it. Where does the + go? Cause I keep getting an error in Magma saying "Missing vocal note at 16:3:001 for lyric '+'." Do you know how to fix this?

Here, I'll give you an example using this video: "you" at 0:42 needs four notes. First lyric should be "you" on C3, second is "+" on D3, third is "+" on C3, fourth is "+" on A3. The slides will happen in the gaps between the notes, so the bigger the gap, the longer and slower the slide.
