Ann Boleyn of Hellion is the definition of what female metal singing should be. Lots of respect is deserved by all of the pioneers of metal. While Doro was never my favorite, I admire her for hanging in there. Holy Moses too.

not many fans are aware of this, but from the mid to late 90s Sabina was also in a band called Temple of the Absurd. the sound was very similar to Holy Moses, sometimes more melodic/atmospheric, with a touches of death and groove metal scattered about. really great stuffs!

Interesting. Being a fan of, and much more familiar with, the Nightwish/Within Temptation-ish vocal style I have to say this is pretty different but cool too. So I guess one COULD actually have a female fronted Blind Guardian style band after all.

I think its pretty obvious from my videos that I listen to and recognise just about all types of metal from heayv, Thrash, Black, Death, Doom etc.

Really though, if you look at my records, you'll find I have a lot more plain old Heavy Metal compared to Thrash. Judas Priest, Girlschool, Jaguar, Venom, Acid, Rock Goddess etc.

I definetly think you should have included Satanic Rites, or at least do so if a part 3 arrives. Détente, however is an excellent choice. And I don't think The Great Kat deserves a spot for mostly being the female attention whore version of Malmsteen nowadays.
