@gkcogs The reason he would is because Americans hate soccer.....and because only private schools have men's soccer teams...EVERY college in the country has a football team
@Mafoomaboo That's not true, almost every public college in the nation has a soccer team, and some of those scholarships are WAY more competitive than the Football ones at the D1 level.
@ChuckSFP What state are you from? Here in Tennessee and the surrounding states, only privately funded colleges, "Christian" colleges, and the like have men's soccer teams. UTK, UTM, UTC, and TTU do not have men's soccer teams, and those are the first that popped into my head. If you know of a public school with a team, please tell me, I would like to check them out and maybe try out
