  • 店はモーパラの可能性もある。あそこはしゃぶしゃぶかすき焼きかを選択できたはず。

  • この人たちはなぜこれをしゃぶしゃぶだと思ったんだ・・・

  • As a side note - that's not oil. It's stock that might be slightly fatty, but it's certainly boiling or near-boiling water. It'd be incredibly dangerous to have hot oil in such quantities at a table so close to unprotected people. Hence - it's water.

  • すき焼きを無理やりしゃぶしゃぶにして食べてます。

  • when you eat shabu shabu they don't give you raw egg. we went to a shabu shabu place once, when they gave us sukiyaki broth they gave us egg too. but when we got spicy miso brother (first) it didn't come with an egg-- so I guess if it comes with egg its sukiyaki haha

  • The raw egg dip is Chinese style.

  • @MsOldGregg

don't eat raw egg in china.

  • hmmm salmonella..:P

Looks good though, I bet the soup is getting tastier and tastier with each beef and vegetable dip

  • raw egg? this is not shabu-shabu.

  • I had shabu shabu today, and it was good.

Here, free publicity b/c it deserves it:

    Hanashima, Montreal Chinatown.

  • Is this in Japan?

If anything, I think this cooking to be sukiyaki not shabu-shabu.

  • It's Shabu Shabu because it's poached in stock not fried which is Sukiyaki

  • Never saw shabu shabu dipped in raw egg.

  • As some people are saying, row eggs are used for sukiyaki. AND this is syabu-syabu, which people usually do not use row eggs. That is right.

This place is a shabushabu chainstore called "Fu-fu-tei". They have shabu-syabu WITH sukiyaki sauce. (their original)

If you have a chance to go fu-fu-tei, try it. Very nice place. All you can eat is 2079yen for 2 hours. I LOVE Fu-fu tei!

  • @wasabee9 row egg?? are you fucking american?

  • @leklek69 dun worry I'm fucking Japanese lol

  • In Japan, Sukiyaki beef is dipped in raw egg before eating, I guess you can do it with shabu-shabu too, the dishes are similar. But I would never eat raw eggs that came from an American supermarket.

  • Hey loudavis6,

did you put the beef into raw eggs?

    Or raw eggs with soy-sauce?

Isn't it a little bit dangerous because of salmonella-bacilli?

Thank you and greetings from germany

  • there is always a risk when eating raw eggs, but the chance of geting salmonella is relatively low.

  • you knowe its strange whow i cant find shabu shabu here in montreal :( .. i sooo wanna taste .. .. i wentto this jap restaurant and i was like do u have chabu chabu ..and hes like thats not japanese .. im like WTFFF lol

  • it was made by chinese but japanese made their own style so in a sense it is japanese also

  • whenever i eat shabu shabu, i never really dip it in raw egg o.o i will try next time lol
