OK-Honestly-I didn't think it was possible for me to feel even more love for this sweet spirit- but damn if I didn't just swoon right here-alone in my art studio. Jar of Flies in in my top 5 fave albums OF ALL TIME. Dr. Adams-musical empathic alchemist- doesn't just feel the music-he drinks in the liquid soul until he embodies the song-then pours it back out his honeyed throat to bless us. (and I am not even joking) My ultimate dream duet partner.
Normally hearing a cover of your favorite song is the equivalent of getting kicked in the balls...but I love Ryan Adams and was willing to give it a listen. Ryan...I salute you.
