you were so quiet and calm, I didn't even know the baby was coming out until the nurse says it. That was amazing!!! you and your baby are beautiful :)
Wow ! You are amazing ... So calm , so focused .What a perfect birth ..You looked beautiful and serene throughout ... You are an inspiration ... Congratulations !!
@wataki2 I had a low dose epidural here, but the previous 36 hours I was using Hypnosis from the Hypnobabies program. I have used it three times and love it. Highly recommend it. This birth was just different all around. I'm not one who loves epidurals, but I was exhausted and needed it to sleep.
Great job! You make it look sooooo easy! Sounds like there was a little issue contacting the hospital staff lol. I'm due in Sept and I don't trust the practitioners at my hospital at all :( They're just rude and seem to have no time for me. I have 5 weeks left so if everything goes fine, i'll more than likely have a homebirth due to my hospital's attitude. Glad your birth went amazing! You are truly an inspiration!
I've have two previous home births, so I'm all for it. This pregnancy was a bit different and needing to be in the hospital. Especially with a 35 week baby.
And make no mistake, there was no issue contacting the staff. They were waiting in the wings. We just purposely didn't call them until her head was already out!! I didn't want anybody touching me when they didn't need to. God bless the nurse in the video. We love her, she was ONE of our angels during the 2 day induction
@mommymichael I don't blame you! There's really no use for all the commotion when a healthy baby is being born. I'm afraid that the hospital would be so focused on rushing things than actually caring for me and my child. My aunt's baby was taken from her before she saw him simply because he didn't have his ID band yet. After they did the APGAR test, measured him, they took him to the nursery. She didn't get to hold him 'til 30 minutes later. w/out a medical concern, there's no excuse for that
I thought that with an epidural you don't feel anything? But towards the end there it looked like you could feel it. What was happening through the clip? Could you feel when to push.
oh my god!! it looked so easy !! hehe I'm abosloutly crapping myself about giving birth Well done i so respect you :) x

Depends on the anesthesiologist. I had a
low dose epidural. I could feel the threads
of the sheets with my feet, but couldn't
feel any sort of pain. I could feel her
descending. I hardly pushed at all.
The contractions were very strong. What
I'm doing there is "breathing baby out". I
felt a LOT of pressure.

@othersideofher
I don't have many labor clips. My husband didn't take very many at all. It's pretty much
just me moaning and rocking about. lol
