I was a prisoner in Auschwitz in 1943. Block 13. I never saw a gassing, never heard about gassings. I saw Red Cross workers come into the camp each Friday and they had access to entire camp. Records released in 1989 show deaths in Auschwitz for 1941-42-43 were about 69,000. I think adding 35,000 might give a fair total number. Every death in Auschwitz was meticulously documented as to name, ethnicity, relatives and cause of death. I reviewed 180 random death certs from the archives and not one was poison gas. Most were Typhus, old age or cancer.

I was a prisoner in Auschwitz in 1943. Block 13. I never saw a gassing, never heard about gassings. I saw Red Cross workers come into the camp each Friday and they had access to entire camp. I only heard reports of gassings in Auschwitz in1955 and thought it wasa sick joke. I now understand it is a fraud to extract big money from government and businesses. I was never given $1 of reparations. There are folks earning big bucks from this lie.

Records released in 1989 show deaths in Auschwitz for 1941-42-43 were about 69,000. I think adding 35,000 might give a fair total number. Every death in Auschwitz was meticulously documented as to name, ethnicity, relatives and cause of death. I reviewed 180 random death certs from the archives and not one was poison gas. Most were Typhus, old age or cancer.

Orders came from the state but were carried out often enthusiastically by the officers and even with civilian participation, i.e. denunciations, beatings and mob attacks. @SpanishBogatyr It saddens me immensely when I see so many comments like yours in response to one of history's greatest tragedy and crime. Imagine losing your job because of your religion. (Law for the Restoration of the Professional Service) Then imagine losing your citizenship later. (Nuremberg Lawas) Imagine being beaten, incarcerated, and murdered. Imagine your wife holding your child and being crammed into a gas chamber and suffocating to death. That's just some of what Nazi's did.

@SpanishBogatyr so that justifies mass murder? That doesn't justify anything. Yes, it was unfair how they were treated, but killing millions of people isn't good revenge. People are respecting nazis these days and yea not all were bad, but what they did and generally stood for wasn't good.

@SpanishBogatyr Yes but why would the treaty of versailles push Hitler to mass murder people? He wanted power for his own gain and used the german people's anger with the treaty of versailles to his advantage. Yes the treaty was unfair, but what the germans did was horrifying.

@SuperClintEastwood The treaty of Versailles put Germany is millions of dollars of debt which they would never get out of. He was pissed at the people who did it to him.
