Christ... I know music has become simplified these days, but how does this get so popular, neither vocalist stands out (the girl can barely hold a note), the lyrics are downright mundane and the instrumentalists aren't even trying (songs take more than 2 or 3 chords guys).

Hell, I know this falls well into the hipster spectrum (further than I care to go) but even people like Lime Cordiale still manage to pull off the Hipster theme and have amazing musical integrity.
