The Russians have been brainwashed by their state controlled media. They don't even think there is Russian troops in Georgia proper. They've been told there's only Russian troops in South Ossetia and Abkahzia.

Not sure if thats true as we here in the US have trouble getting any basic facts in our news. For instance, yesterday for the first time since the war broke out- I heard a US news station mention that Georgia attacked south ossetia first. Of course that news station was NPR, so its only getting to a relatively small portion of the population. Now s. ossetia and abkahzia are being declared independent from georgia. If my state was attacked by my country, i would also want independence.

Tskinvali and Abkhazia aren`t states, they are part of Georgia .

USA has no nation., it is immigrants land. Georgia has different situation, we are nation and our forefathers used to live here more then 3000 years.

So, please, do not compare Georgia to USA, and do not speak, when there is no enough information in our mind.
