when you convert it you have to chance the game id to SLPS-02100....that will solve the problem

change the game id to persona innocent sin's id. It removed all slowdowns and crashing for me!

how do you guys change the ID of a game? Do you just rename the folder it's in or is there something more to it?

My guess was WhiteDawn extracted this game ISO from the original Persona 2 PSX disk then convert it using ZiNgABuRgA Popstation GUI (the PSX-PSP Eboot converter). There you have the option to change the game ID..
