Apparently no other news org found it worthy to report. Newsmax's report cites an unnamed NYTimes editorial commentary as the source.

Newsmax is owned by neoconservative Richard Melo Scaife who have funded & donated to Republican candidates in past elections, as well as the Western Journalism Center which is a conservative group.
