Taxiing at Schiphol takes an age sometimes, but i notice that it isn't very secure the further out you go. I remember going past a family with a little one waving furiously (very cute) but no fence to separate them from the runway. A little worrying i thought...

With the amount of taxiing that they have to do at Schiphol, they could just as well have driven all the way....

Amsterdam-Groningen is a 2 drive, so if you include boarding time, parking car, walking to gates etc. it's about as fast as going by car.....nuts
