I just did a liu he ba fa workshop in Las Vegas in 2011with Wei Lun Choi. In his seventies he is still faster and more powerful then me. Inside from his forms his techniques are simple and very effective. Real Kung Fu! So rare these days.
ten people voted negatively against this video clip, are they all F'N insane or something??? This is a Grand Master performing this technique. A former undefeated bare knuckle champion of China. A man who kicked the sorry asses of thirty six people in one day. Grand Master Choi deserves the utmost respect and admiration.
What's amazing is the speed of the form - hard to see on the first pass but on the way back, he's clearly moving at near dead run while maintaining control and delivering blows. Any Chinese kung fu worth squat can make the same claim but the power on display here is absurd - there would likely be no follow up to any of these shots.
Funny thing is, as good as he was then doing this, which I would guess is probably at least 12-15 yrs ago in his early to mid 50's, he was even better doing it 3 yrs ago in his early 60's, which was the last time I saw him demonstrate! True skill perpetuates, doesn't it?, much love and respect Master Choi.

He makes it look so simple, just your average bomb rolling down the steep drop of a roller coaster and exploding at the instance of impact. Yikes!!!

Hi l1hao, are you saying there is no intention during Choi's execution? Looks to me as if he's got the eyes of a hawk :)

I believe I have a video of him demonstrating it three yrs ago. To me, this one is much 'cleaner'.
