  • Well, if I ever get chased by one of these, I'm out of luck and I will actually be a victim to vampirism.

  • That's fascinatingly ape-like!

  • That's horrifying.

  • Reminds me of the tank from Left 4 Dead...

  • its like a little bat horse!

  • thats probably where they got the idea ha "Honey there is a bat in the house" .... "Bat .. mhm" ha

  • wow, basically how to walk without leg muscles, works pretty well, i think thats what roast chicken escape would look like ^^

  • Are you sure that bats have no leg muscles? I would think it unlikely for nature to equip an animal with legs but no means in which to use them. The legs would have shriveled like our useless appendixes.

  • @mmedefarge speak only for yours ;P, but yeah thats probably true, since they need them mainly for hanging they are probably more adapted to pulling force, but at their size and weight they are probably "over-muscled" anyway, especially compared to us

  • Don't worry about my legs, kid. I don't drive, walk most places that I must go & work in a hospital where I'm on my feet most of the day & have to lift people occasionally during the day. Perhaps you meant to say that the extensor muscles in bat's legs are stronger than the flexors, the opposite of humans.

  • @mmedefarge The quadriceps, the most powerful muscles in the leg, are knee extensors, not flexors. The gluteus maximus, the most powerful muscle in the hip, are hip extensors, not flexors.

  • @hasthisbeentakenyet Flexor muscles, regardless of where they are in the body, are stronger than extensors, always, at least in humans. We spend the first 9 months of gestation in our mother's womb in a flexed position. Suffer neurological damage & the stronger flexor muscles are usually the ones to go on overdrive, leading to flexor spasticity, leaving the victim unable to extend the upper & lower extremity on the effected side.

  • @mmedefarge Appendices.

  • @Supermassively I was referring to our vermiform appendixes, which according to the dictionary, can be spelled "appendixes".

  • @mmedefarge And according to Urban Dictionary, "owned" can be spelled "pwnt". That doesn't make it right.

  • CLOVERFIELD!!

  • EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!

  • I remember reading about this before. Other bats don't do this because they can take off into the air by dropping down from whatever cave ceiling or tree branch they are on. Vampire bats, because they must land to feed on sleeping animals, had to learn take off from the ground.

  • Varghulf!!!!

  • CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • i like the way that you can see the way the bat runs from two angles... very cool

  • Very cool! Better than the other video full of clips.

  • awesome

  • that's how i run

    hurhur

    i am so funny

    ...

  • nice.

  • shitty way of running

  • Interesting...

  • WTF?!?!

  • Wow, much cooler than the shrimp on the treadmill!!

  • cool!
