"Durant ces années, R & B artistes mettaient hors albums classiques. L'air très dans la communauté noire était épais à l'innovation, la créativité, et de vrais musiciens! C'était comme s'ils savaient que nous étions sur le point d'entrer dans un âge des ténèbres qui a commencé avec la sortie de Sugar Hill Gangs Delight rappeurs. Qui pourrait croire que vous pourriez la bouche des paroles insensées qui ont fait absolument aucun sens pour quelqu'un elses la musique?" C'est la traduction google.
All of you criticizing the youth are being unfair. They only know what they've been exposed to. So they dig crates & sample the energy. Right now the Roots as about the only signed black band, yet every major hip-hop act performs with a live band in concert cuz bands can't be topped. But the industry ain't supporting black bands. But they are coming back. The last place you will find out is on your Clear Channel station. The rebirth of the music is coming. Funk & Soul is in Control!
During these years, R&B artists were putting out classic albums. The very air in the black community was thick with innovation, creativity, and REAL MUSICIANS! It was as if they knew we were about to go into a Dark Age which began with the release of Sugar Hill Gangs Rappers Delight. Who would believe that you could mouth some nonsensical lyrics that made absolutely no sense to somebody elses music?
@hmorganman But it is still selling musically those nonsensical lyrics while real R&B is dying. Not all of rap music is bad sir!!! Compared to what passed for rap music these days shoot give me the rap of the 80's to mid 90's ANYDAY!!!
@hmorganman This music sells because there is no other alternative but remakes and samples. The new; song by Monica just came out. The ignorance of what came before just 30 yrs ago is such that this can be peddled as something new. Deniece Williams had talent. In fact she was called the Songbird. These young people should be carving out a legacy for themselves. Our artists of the 70s understood they were standing on the shoulders of giants.
@hmorganman I agree. As much as I love rap, 90% is due to the samples, which is old jazz, soul, and funk. I thoroughly agree that rap has poisoned the minds of too many people who are too stupid to realize it's all a joke. It's been embraced and taken seriously. They want ho's, guns, drugs, jewelry, and money. What about "Love and Happiness"?
@charlyblues BTW, when I said 90%, I said meant 90% of my love is due to the samples. If you are honestly going to tell that people do not take this form of music too seriously or believe all the stories told through the lyrics, you are crazy.
It is too fast!!!

@hmorganman Imagine what the world be like if they chose to make music instead of steal it...
If I was an artist, I wouldn't let those tools use my music.

This is too high. If you recorded this directly from a turntable, I'd say your belt speed is poorly calibrated.
