No if you use a deadly combo to kill a soldier then the other soldiers get scared and back off a little or delay their attack, think i read it on the actual game manual or in the tutorial at the start not sure

I have this on the 360...beat the game twice and once stood up to over 100 guards and got hit i think 20 times...not bad considering that battle lasted over 40 minutes, plus i got the achievement for staying in combat for 10 minutes...i think i over achieved on that one...
