This is no magic, and yes, it is a very real threat. How did they do this? You need two people, a wifi network (used by FB user and you can connect to it) and an Addon for Firefox called "FireSheep" (google for it, its 100% legal, free). While the 'magician' was talking, "Firesheep" stole the cookie, they logged in, and they shopped the pic/uploaded it real fast. (If you just want to steal accounts, obviously, you don't need a second person. That's only for show.)

@shikibiomernok (If they use the "Secure connection" option in the Settings (on Facebook), you can NOT hijack the account. Tell this to your friends (to use this option), or just set it in their profiles. This protects your / their account from most of the hijacks. (And no, not an anti-virus software, sorry AVG. You make an excellent product though!))
