  • WOW! that is just awesome

  • What a wonderful update! I notice she has stopped echoing questions, answers most of the open-ended questions without choices or prompting, and has increased her eye contact significantly. Keep up the great work, Brie & co.!

  • people with autism are generaly quite brainy and learn quite fast but the difficulties come with interacting with other people and i speek from experience ( as i have mild autism)

  • oh yeah if you would like to ask any questions about what its like to live with autism ( from a first person point of view) feel free to email me on mark11111112 at yahoo. co. uk

  • Wow- Great progress:) It was great to meet you at ASP tonight..

  • WOW! she has made tremendous strides, absolutely amazing!!! you should be very proud of your amazing daughter and yourself for being such a wonderful mother! and yes, THIS DOES GIVE ME HOPE!!!!!!

  • She has improved so much! She responds quickly and actually looks at you. Congratulations!

  • Great video! I am excited for your success! You said that your progress was due to diet intervention. Can you tell me exactly what you did? Thank you.

  • We have her on the GFCF diet, and we are trying to take out all artificial dyes especially Red40. That is what we have done so far and it has helped with her attention and focus tremendously.

  • but has she also been in therapy in addition to that?

  • You are right. She does attend public school in a "stay put" regular education setting, but they claim she has made no progress. She started outside speech therapy in October 2008 so her gains aren't seen by this video. She has made amazing progress and it is due to everyones' hard work and dedication. I am also a dual certified teacher with an autism endorsement and I work any opportunity that I can with her. The diet has helped her attention but it is difficult for infractions not to occcur.

  • Great work! I'm PROUD of you both!

  • Love your first favorite color answer Brie! red orange yellow, green blue purple. That's a rainbow!

  • Wow! wonderful! I was hoping you would do an update, and now look at how much she has progressed!

  • Fantastic progress! I noticed she doesn't need to repeat the questions you asked anymore. She also seems to have far more focus than in the last video- she looks so much more "with it"! Keep up the good work!!!
