  • Whered you get this video? I want a copy! NOW!

  • if u want a type r, just buy a teg and do a head swap, unless it was a type R or GSR already. The only differences between the two b18c's in those two trims were some forged and balanced bits that probably only net you a little bit more reliability beyond 7000rpm. Also, the GSR was pre OBD-II. Or if you want it in your civic, put the b18c in your civic. simple enough, Honda made nearly everything plug and play, save for a hasport mount here and there and some ecu swapping or chipping.

  • the reason why in North America we don't get Type R's anymore is because it's meant for racing. The only Type R we got was the 97-01 integra type R

  • Talk shit on type r all you want... seen it on track? Beat the r34 and rx7 times at a track in japan.... all stock also... type r has awesome tuning it.

  • and why didn't they get the US one w/ LSD??

  • why is someone saying they don't sell Civic R's here in the states because no one wants to pay30k for a barebone civic??? They're pretty much the same as the Integra R..they both have full interior and just about everything as a standard civic or integra.

  • club of DReamS

  • This Type R Very SICK!!!!! I love that sound.

  • civicu typeu aru!

  • @FreestylerAlbert Wht in the fuckng world are u in here in the first place??? GTFO!!

  • why the hell make "shit" cars out of japan and make PERFECT cars for inside the country,?????

  • @FreestylerAlbert if you read the description you would know

  • except when i google fastest street legal car its not a pussy rice burner.... its actually a dugati veyron a v16 .......... stupid ;)

  • @MojaveOutlander bugatti

  • @MojaveOutlander who wants to spend over a mill to buy a fucking car? Honda probably makes more money than bugatti because no one wants to buy a shitty ugly ass car

  • lol honda civic.....

  • @MojaveOutlander wtf? Lol honda civic? what the fk? get outta here u fking noob. go drive ur broken ass chevy.

  • @AbstractVisionGaming lol ok ok calm down, your rice burning piece of crap that aint worth tuning up when there are far better and cheaper rice burners that are WAY better to tune up but whatever waste your time with your little civic...

  • @MojaveOutlander Lol.... Rice burning. You know why you won't win in a race? because people doubted the ae86 trueno and guess what it did. It made a new legacy, rally racers can use the most underpowered car to win. It's about the torque not ur dam v8s... u know nothing about ricers... Nothing.

  • @AbstractVisionGaming oh he just became your bitch! yayuh! >:0

  • He cant shift with his right hand too?! Whoa... I cant do both...

  • FD2 best TypeR

  • Jdm=k20a=230hp... Usdm=k20z=210hp

  • The jdm Honda type r has a k20a engine with 23"

  • JDM <3

  • When is a better time for me to stick my dick in tha type r's exhaust pipe

  • USDM Civic Si is heavier, less powerful, and the suspension is less trackworthy compared to the JDM Type R. But that's the point. It's a TYPE R, the Si has a sunroof, stereo, soundproofing, etc. The Type R is track focused. They don't sell the Civic R here becuase the majority of the oublic doesn't want to pay over $30K for a barebones civic - no matter how fast it is. And Japanese Cars have VINS, they're just not like ours.

  • Japan = lots more horsepower...there is a difference. Maybe do a lil research before u make stupid comments, ur commenting privileges have been revoked.

  • You guys are stupid the reason why JDM dosen't sell here is cause of vin numbers too many cars would be stolen. JDM dont have vin numbers on the engine!!

  • Made in America...made in Japan...you can't tell me with modern mass manufacturing there is any fraction of difference. It's a Honda Civic...who cares?

  • @74VDC Not quality of manufacturing, but the engine design itself. I am not american so i am not familiar with the particular restrictions or reasons for not importing it. However i know for example that the BMW E36 M3 had 286hp (in 3L form) and 321hp (in 3.2L form), whilst in the US both 3 and 3.2 litre motors produced 240hp. In the case of the M3 it used a less potent motor and softer springs due to marketing and environmental reasons. :)

  • SUBS please :)

  • I will pay for a 30K Civic. As long as it has a red valve cover.

Reason JDM Hondas don't make it to the U.S. is because they are too sporty they will outperform some of the domestics.

  • @Arai4lpinestars well said.........

  • @Arai4lpinestars thats actually a reason they would make it to the US market...

  • @Arai4lpinestars and emissions regulations aren't too good for those high revving 4's, that's why the celica died as well..

  • The reason we don't have the Japanese Civic R in the US is because not very many people will pay 33k + for a Civic.

  • @sdlausen i will pay that for a japanese car ;)

not for the crapy american muscle cars :s

to big engine and almost no hp if you compare with a japanese car

and in europe, we got corners ;) so american cars are'nt good here

  • @SeoDriver Sadly... you're wrong. Current American muscle cars are pretty good. The new mustang is just as fast as a BMW m3 in both corners and 1/4 mile times. The Corvette Z06 and ZR1 are astonishing as well. Even the Europeans love them. Times have changed my friend.

  • @sdlausen

i agree that they are better now.

but i'm a mechanic on raceteam here in europe ( belgium --> btcs and belcar race)

we ride with a Bmw silhouette M3 ( silhouette means that its car, made from rolcage up)

our cars and the other european or japanese cars that are driving in this championship are still much faster in the corners ;)

the americans got got speed on the straight line.

and don't compare them in the Fia GT1 championship ;)

the rules there have changed there

  • @SeoDriver Naturally, a fully built caged car will be faster in corners... I was also referring to straight-out-of-the-factory (OEM) performance. American cars have changed, get used to it.

  • @sdlausen corvette and viper are also build like that for race ;)

but still there is a difference, here in europe they got less hp :(

when you buy a type R in japan, it will have more hp than when you buy it in america or europe.

so in a way we cant compare them

i know that they have changed ;) and i still love the looks of the american muscle from the sixties.

but there will always be this sh*t, where people are for the american muscle or japanese power ;) so let us just enjoy the cars

  • @SeoDriver You could not have said it better! Like you, I enjoy all cars across the board. I own a Honda DC5 here in the US, and I love it. I also love American muscle myself and when I can afford one, I'll upgrade to a Honda s2000, or 2011 Mustang GT. For the joy of cars my friend.

  • @sdlausen the problem here is that my country hate's cars with a lot off hp :(

when you got one, you must pay insurance, no problem with that, but its to much.

i got a cynos now, not much hp and i pay over 1000 euro for insurance.

when i buy something like a s2000 it will be to much :(

i'm born on the wrong side of the sea ;)

but we still can tune our engine's ( what they not know, we don't got to pay) :D

and indeed we all love cars, it's like we all love woman.

  • @SeoDriver fuck the women, cars last longer :)

  • should use your safety belt during racing!

  • you need a nice suspension.
