Recall in the One Star Trek Movie, I think it was Generations, where Kirk was taken into the Nexus! Recall that Gyne (sp? gynecologist) Whoopie Goldberg, was there in spirit although she wasn't really there. Therefore, technically, they could find a way to recreate Kirk from the Nexus even though he died in the movie.

Wow I'm totally shocked!! I'm glad that Spock is back and yes I also think it would be great to see Shatner in as a cameo.. but according to cannon.. he's dead (refer to Star Trek Generations). Let's not go back and mess up a good thing. Can't wait!!

@OfficialDjElix They could revive Kirk from the Nexus... recall when Gyne (sp?) was talking with Picard there only because she was once there and found a way out. Her spirit was left behind or a part of it I guess. I suppose Kirk could come back via the Nexus somehow.
